2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

If this is true then what’re TFG going to do when the match going fans become more vocal against Dyche, crowd booing them off the pitch, protests, banners etc.

Are they just gonna ignore it? I just can’t see that at all as they’ll be setting themselves up to fail if that is the case.
I dont think Evertonians will do that, it took the fanbase the best part of 30 years to protest against the worst chairman/owner in our history.

But I think it is the right thing to do, Dyche can`t be allowed to continue.

Same old excuses every week from certain parts of the fanbase. Absolute losers.

He’s shown absolutely nothing in his career to show he’ll turn this round. He’s got better attacking options than last season & theyre still poorly coached.

Been here 2 years now & there’s been no progression. Still crap infront of goal, still not winning games, footballs still rubbish.

Wolves have brought a new manager in, working with the same squad, and since have won two and drawn one. Will that always work? No, look at Amorin.

But, a manager can be a catalyst for the performances improving if they know how to get the best out of the parts: people management, tactics and attitude.

Dyche lacks any of those three qualities when it comes to football that looks to even attempt to score a goal.
Oversimplifying to extreme, but any manager with a bit of character and personality could come in short term and say to the back 4 and Gana to do exactly the same as they are doing, then give the other 5 players the licence and freedom and patterns to enjoy having the ball. We’ll concede a few more but score more.

If they wanted to get really crazy, one full back at a time could be allowed to cross the half way line. There would be a period where our back 4 would happily carry on doing what they know to be correct. “Find a way to score” is not an attacking instruction in the 21st century.

It’s more about personality and mentality. The pressure of administration and points deductions has gone, but the team looks like it still has that weight on its shoulders. Dyche’s message is all about grit and consistency. When it’s getting results, players will roll with it. When it’s not, eventually the same message every single day will just really really annoy them.

He keeps banging on about us taking 2 steps forward then 2 steps back, that is why. When we move forward, build on it. Use that slight lift in confidence, give them something new to work with. Not just “same again lads, sweat on the socks and blood on the shorts.”

Certainly not a performance to be proud of. And not enjoyable football by any stretch. Emotionally gutting.
Clincally still think Dyche has one of worst squads. And I look at our tactics and sure what would work best with this team they are so weak.
Hopefully new owners start spending on the squad, and bring in a world class manager.
Doubtful we’re getting a world class manager in our current position - but a competent one would do

Well they're keeping Chong on for now, and by all accounts value his opinion and may even keep him on, and he has been acting CEO. This means that his purview has been way beyond the stadium these last 18 months and will no doubt include his assessment of the football situation. So, you know.

And word always gets out. Some of it will be rumour, some will be pure nonsense. But word gets out of every organisation - particularly football clubs.

If we'd been sounding out managers, we'd know about it.
The point I`ve always made and a small part of why I hink Dyche is staying.... remember people putting 2 & 2 together because Allegri was at a Roma game in England, that is nothing to do with us...

What is stopping them getting rid of him? They`ve done it often enough in Italy yet they are sat on their hands doing nothing.
Name one ownership that’s came in and immediately potted a manager on day dot? There’s a lot around the club that has to be put in place, that doesn’t mean they won’t do it, but it was never gonna be a case of ‘here we are, we’re excited to get going oh and btw Sean Dyche is fired’
