2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

No I don`t but you can`t sack a whole squad, it will always be the manager that carries the can for poor performance, as in any walk of life.

In your personal life do you manager people? I do and my bosses won`t accept "Its all them", it is my job to ensure they are performing. Perhaps you are one of those bosses who think it`s always the minions....

But this is what we have right now and it is performing way below what we have seen last season... As for players in positions there is always other answers, just because you or Dyche can`t see them doesn`t mean they dont exist, for example....

Tarkowski - £18m O’Brien that Dyche sanctioned, seems like he is holding o`Brien back like he held Branthewaite back
Mykolenko - 40 year old former lw now rb, Young has been one of the better performers this season, Patterson showed Dyche up in his cameo yesterday
Doucoure - we literally have only got Armstrong who’s a cm fit, move NDaiye or Lindstrom central in to the 10
Harrison - have you watched Lindstrom yet? He’s great… Broja wide left where he played for previous clubs, McNeil right, Lindstrom would work in a more attacking side
I do manage people yeah, but wind it in with any personal crap - we’re both blues here.

The manager takes the rap, you’re absolutely right and he’s gone by May at the very latest. But no new manager instantly makes this a talented, underperforming squad is my point.

It’s a crap squad.

It just so happens our manager is also crap.

We need a Simeone or someone like that, just a proper proper lunatic to just get everyone going again (he’s out of reach obviously). The whole club is rancid.

I'd take Super Frank back in a heartbeat if it means getting rid of Dyche. That's how bad things are.

The middle finger button is down below and to the right.
Steady on mate. Frank is one of the very few that are even worse than Dyche. Definitely a much nicer fella but a really terrible Manager. Dyche isn't far behind him and is a horrible fella and a terrible Manager who needs to go today. I share your frustration.

How are we supposed to progress as a club with Dyche as manager? He's doing the exact opposite. Like a lot of people have been saying, it's just a matter or time until he relegates us. A new manager with a different perspective of this squad, not saying they are great, but it could just be a matter of tactics or getting a few different players a look that could be the difference between a relegation battle vs a few spots up on the table.

To progress we need to stay in the top flight going into the new stadium.

Currently that is his only remit, one he will probably succeed in. He won't be getting a new contract.

We are at a real risk of going down regardless. (I don't think we will though)

If we are getting a new manager we need a plan, not some random bloke to get us 3 points from some mythical new manager bounce. That just puts us in the same position again.

We seem to do this every year or two now and we always say never again yet get in the same position each time. Its madness.
Agree we keep making the same mistakes time after time, the way to resolve that is to recruit better p,Ayers and a manager. If we had Moshir still in charge, I’d be less inclined to get rid, he appointed poorly generally. I’m also not interested in a new manager bounce, a manager will need to bring a sustainable improvement.

The worst of it is he has dumbed down expectations and simple enjoyment of watching the football so much that fans don't want to celebrate Goodison pk's last season with him. There is no buzz. There is no outpouring of sentiment and passion built up over 6 generations. There's dyche, and his blaming of everything from fans to psr to players to noise rather than take responsibility for anything himself. GP deserves better than this guy for its send off

RVN is a disastrous appointment. He fluked a win whilst conceding about 40 shots and he’s quickly finding out why ‘having a go’ doesn’t work when your players are crap.

It statistically doesn’t down the bottom though, Luton and Burnley last year attest to that.

Ipswich this season so far.

Teams who concede as few as we do rarely go down, that’s a fact. It’s not pretty though.

Big excuses for Amorim when they should have bounced purely by changing manager shouldn’t they?

What is this talent you speak of that’s being held back, please do spell this one out to me.

I’d love to rate some of these, they’re Everton players. But they’re just crap mate, the sooner the summer comes round and half of them are gone and Dyche with them then the better.
The fundamental point is that players and teams are able to improve with a new manager. Some have stayed the same and even gone worse but some have improved significantly. Works both ways.

For anyone (not aimed directly at you) to suggest that there is no manager out there capable of doing better than 3 wins in 18 games with these group of players is straight up delusional.

If he’s not enough for a new contract then he should be fired immediately. Players down tools with lame duck managers.

With 12 months left a manager should be given a new contract or binned
