2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Because its fairly obvious. He was brought in to get us through a tough situation hence the short contract. He gets a chance to show what he can do (and has not took it really) but with the bonus of him being safe enough to get us to the new ground as a premier league club.

Unless we look in serious trouble (which is possible) he will be here until the end of his contract. It's a couple of months away and then we can reset with any luck.
All managers we have appointed have been in similar contracts recently, max of 3 years if appointed in the summer, less if appointed mid season.

Do you not think having only a 3 point margin of safety above relegation places puts us in the ‘serious trouble’ category already? If not, what puts us in that category?

I dont remember where i read it but he mentioned he wanted them to play on the "front foot" and a couple more things in the first half.

Basically it seems like the long balls and running around aimlessly with crosses fron 40 yards out is what he wanted 1st half.
Those deep crosses annoyed me majorly. They never work. Get to the byline if we are going to do that.

I'm giving them until 9am local time in Houston to do what's right, otherwise I'm hiring a plane with a Dyche Out banner. Anybody know any pilots?
Contact owner bud.

We just need someone with a set of stones to do it ,before it's too late.

No I don't, yet. It's nothing new for us.

The usual suspects to be in the mix doing really well this season obviously doesn't help.

I'm not advocating for Dyche by the way, I'm just saying what I reckon the owners will do. Obviously the next couple of games will be huge.

Exactly.

No way this squad is mid table quality. We’re 15-20th fodder and luckily the last two seasons the three promoted sides have been terrible. Only outlier here is Leicester if they sack RVN by early March and try someone else, should be gone by then though.

I don’t see anyone above us that we can consider ourselves better than realistically, other than purely ‘we’re Everton though aren’t we’ - yes we are, but Jack Harrison is our best right winger.
We had 3 crap managers in a row, Lampard was useless and so Dyche, this team is easily a top 15 team..

Here a plan run to the byline and cross for DCL not hit it 40 yards and let him run on his own

Jack Harrison a left winger

That would mean committing men forward, which we know he does not like to do hence the isolationism of the forward players. It’s the only way he gets to maintain his proud defensive record.
Not really, it's a couple of yards! We had players in and around the box but we just kept floating it into the keepers hands. Even belting it hard and low would be better as the ball can go anywhere.

The fancy corner with the backheel annoyed me too! Just get it in there!
