2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I beg anyone to read this and tell me this isn’t @chicoazul

As a young coach at Watford, Dyche got to know their honorary life president Sir Elton John, who referred to his new gravel-voiced friend as 'My angel, my darling

Bettered only by this:

While the manager endures the tension of waiting, at least he still has the Finch Farm gym to clear his head.

Would like to see someone defend this one, he got tactically outclassed last week, we played right into their hands and he's coming out with stuff like this????

Yeah Sean- Forest were bricking it in the second half. Those 2 tame headers we had on target caused them all kinds of panic.
Does he think no-one was at the game to see what he says after the event is complete waffle?!

Dominant apparently means something different in the East Midlands. If he genuinely thinks we dominated Forest in the second half of that game then he's even more delusional than I thought he was. And, frankly, I thought he was a lunatic.

Cut through the comedic value and they make some salient points.

TFG may want gradual improvement rather than a revolution due to PSR constraints.

Dyche may be "respected" by the squad which is better than not being.

The manager pool isnt there until the summer.

I like to believe im being rational when i say we have to strengthen the team either way. With an improved team we can assess and judge managerial performance a little differently perhaps.

A "fast break" for a team with no pace...is called a 'break', I assume?

So we have the least possession, and are the worst team at counter attacking.

I literally have no clue what the team is trying to do. I don’t think they know either.
We are as much use as a chocolate teapot and I put most of the blame on a manager who has been here two years and in an attacking sense we have regressed.

The stats and facts don't lie Sean.

Theoretically, if you remove Harrison and Doucoure and replace with a couple of Ndiaye types...not rapid but 'quick' with talent then there should be a vast improvement in results.

Thats what we need to be starting in this window. Posession stats mean nothing but the counter attacking effectiveness is critical.

You can’t counter attack when your wide players are playing as secondary full-backs.

Judging by the press conference, he genuinely believes he’s doing a good job.

Do the club feel the same? It wouldn’t be the first time there has been a disconnect between club and fan base. It’s probably played a part in where we are today and why there is such resentment towards the people at Everton from some fans.
