2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Theoretically, if you remove Harrison and Doucoure and replace with a couple of Ndiaye types...not rapid but 'quick' with talent then there should be a vast improvement in results.

Thats what we need to be starting in this window. Posession stats mean nothing but the counter attacking effectiveness is critical.
That is one part of it but also you can coach attacking patterns it looks like we don't. Also are you sure he would play them? He doesn't play a secondary striker/no ten in Ndiaye there now... also I suspect he prefers a player who works back like Harrison to someone like Gray even when he was here... it is proven by his selections you wonder how many wingers he has turned down.

Gray was just as bad as Harrison but in different ways.

We have no way of knowing on the managers effectiveness with new players until he has those players.

There were hints of that in the press conference today, I thought. He hates Evertonians, our expectation levels - and the fact that we don’t see him as a saviour.

When he was asked about whether he listens to what people say about him:

“Do you listen to all that outside chat?”

“Here you can’t not listen to it because everyone tells you about it all the time. So I don’t tend to, no. I’ve got ten years of the Premier League so I know what it’s all about.”

He switches from betraying his frustration at the start of that answer, then checks himself and gives the answer he’s supposed to by the end.
All very Allardyce these days

No mate. What that tells me is that if we replace the front line with people that can hit a ball on target, our conversion rate goes up and nobody cares about tedious stats anymore.

They're 2 points behind us and played a game more and won as many games as we have.

They have a very tough January coming up. Let's see where they are at the end of it: baked into the relegation zone is the overwhelming likelihood.

Ok dave … so they are heading straight back to the championship?

Got no hope of staying up?

Yet you then go on to say that they are only two points behind us and won the same amount of games?

So they are pretty even with us going off your comments ? And they are going straight back down?

So if we use logic…. Where are we likely to be heading ?

And that ignoring the fact that they are gaining more prem experience as weeks go by

"Sean, were the signings of Beto and O'Brien made with your blessing? Did you work together with Kevin Thelwell to identify these two as players that would improve the starting XI this season? With funds seemingly limited, fans are asking why £30m pounds was spent on two players that are clearly far down the pecking order when there are numerous glaring holes in the squad - what would you tell the fans about that?"

I really wonder the no journalist has put any such question to the manager. Unless they've specifically been told they're not allowed to ask) for some peculiar reason) then it's a really obvious topic to ask about.

Nobody is asking Sean that question so let's ask @chicoazul.

He seems to know everything about Everything Everton
Good morning Benidorm, rise and shine and let’s get ready for another low IQ day of objectifying Sean Dyche as a piñata for your own low self worth, and electric likes from fellow low IQ mouth breathers.1.50€ a pint of Carling lads, in this the darts crowd thread of GOT

.

The other things about Dyche (as poor as he’s been this year) is he has too close a relationship with his coaches. If they are poor, he’s unlikely to remove them from post, as they are his best mates - I know management teams comes as ‘one’ but I don’t know many who (or have) lived together
