He's not trying to win matches to stay in a job, he wants to lose matches to get his payoff.

Villa are very flakey this season. Esp away. I think its a great game to start post dyche feel good factor. The momentum might just carry us over the line rather than the quality. But just to have a different upbeat feeling as opposed to the current manager who just drags everyone down.

The last several disastrous years, have actually left me feeling nervous about whether to stick or twist with him, not because I like what Dyche is doing but more that we’ve been such a shambles every action feels like it just makes matters worse now .

For me Baines would get more chance of getting a result v Villa than Dyche would.

He would lift the whole ground, so it's a no brainer get it done

yeah I think if we had around 25 points and our underlying metrics were reasonably sound (as they were last season with xG and chance creation) then he'd stay until the summer.
But as it stands we are playing poorly and in a precarious position, it doesn't benefit us to keep him and might actively get us sent down.
