2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

TFG have also ran a very tight ship with regards to leaks (nothing came out on their side regarding the take over progress etc) so one would image they do have someone lined up ready.
I trust Freidkin to do a betttr job of sacking managers and bringing in new ones than Moshiri/Kenwright.

Ofc that’s a very low bar, and they have botched it a bit with their latest at Roma, but this outfit appears to have at least the trappings of professionalism vs the clown car that we had in charge.

yeah I think if we had around 25 points and our underlying metrics were reasonably sound (as they were last season with xG and chance creation) then he'd stay until the summer.
But as it stands we are playing poorly and in a precarious position, it doesn't benefit us to keep him and might actively get us sent down.
Exactly mate, it’s his beloved underlying stats that have to do for him, funny how those never get brought up now. If anything they show we should be worse off, he should have no complaint if he goes now (but of course he’ll be on every gammon football podcast doing just that).

Myers is pretty well-in with TFG, right? He seemed to be their PR vehicle of choice throughout the takeover through that reporter notebook he does.

If that's the case, I'm interested in the logic of them floating this.

I suppose it's either - letting the fans know they're on it while giving Dyche the next 2-3 games to save his job - or attempting to gauge the reaction.

My money would be squarely on the former, if not for the fact that Myers writes in that article about an interim option for the Peterborough game. That makes me think there's a chance it could happen quickly.

Fingers crossed eh.

Looks like they’ve got the Ranieri one right though. On a decent run at the minute Roma.
