2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

My advice is to be careful what you wish for.

There's no way you can guarantee we get a manager in who can cope as well as Dyche has here for 2 years operating under the strain he's endured.

I would put it at 90% Dyche gets th required points to keep us up.

We are tough to beat and dont go on long losing streaks.

If these owners are wobbling on Dyche they better have around £50M/£60M to spend on players this window...and they better have a Plan B if that change goes disastrously wrong...which it stands a good chance of doing.

Dyche = safety
A.N.Other manager = risk
You can't guarantee dyche gets us safety. Nobody can. Just as getting a new manager doesn't guarantee us safety either.

The only thing to go on is current form and how performances/results are trending. At the moment, it is trending downwards. The question is what can dyche do to change it? If it is only "hope that garner and McNeill are fit again soon", we are in trouble.

It's now up to the owners whether they stick or twist. Either way, they'll be judged on their choice.

Getting sent lots of stuff from me Geordie mates. For once, I actually don’t mind getting grief from them 😂

Don't you start and get me all excited here.

Is this fella sauced? We'll know if this is true within 48 hours.

If it is revealed that he's gone, the above poster should be called as being 'sauced'.

If he's not gone within 48 hours, poster ought to be disciplined for spreading lies.

I hope it's the former and I will be happy that we have a sauced up poster here.
Would never lie about stuff this important. The guy who tells me is the guy who previously gave me lineup info 3 days before the game and a couple of transfer things in advance. He is bang on 'normally'

he just said:

He originally said if not before if don’t beat villa he’s done, but then changed and said he’s gone
Can never say 100 per cent like
But been told he’s gone be announced tonight or tomorrow

I would never post made up stauff - this guy isa normally very good but has got it wrong on occasion.

Dave,

You might be being economical with the truth here. The Premier League moved from 42 games to 38 in the 95/96 season.

0.31 x 38 games = 11.78 wins = 35.34 points

0.31 x 42 games = 13.02 wins = 39.06 points

Of course if we actually use the correct success rate in Premier League games we would have:

0.28 x 38 games = 10.64 wins = 31.92 points

To be fair, if we got 10 wins we would stay up but that means that we would need 7 more in the second half of the season. That's hard to see.
What odds on us scoring under Dyche ball?
