I remember this a bit differently to most people it seems.

At the risk of defending Dyche here - I don't think Jackson had any more of a chance at saving Burnley as Dyche would have had he stayed on. They got a brief 'bounce' but after that they looked even more hopeless than they did under Dyche and went down anyway..
He won 4 games in 30
And his last game was a comfortable 2 nil defeat at Norwich the worst side in the league. Jackson won 3 in 8. Not sure that = more hopeless

Not against changing the manager but if we don't add to this squad, these serial losers will go on another winless run under the next fella
Be nice to see them not playing amateur league tactics and percentages football though won’t it mate?

Or are you a big fan of that type of football?

And what makes you think Dyche was giving them any more of a bounce?

Look, I don't like the fella myself, but his record in the last 7-8 games of a season speaks for itself. He could've eked out another 3-4 wins out of them in that time to give them a fighting chance that season.

Obviously we'll never know, but under Jackson they looked completely beaten by the time that season ended.

There's reasons for that. We have our creative players Garner and McNeil out.

Do you see an alternative manager to Dyche getting wins with no brain out on the pitch to pull levers?

I dont.
So Garner is “creative” now is he? He’s got 3 assists in 59 PL appearances according to stats 😂

Keep em coming, I love a good court jester.
