2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I think one of the major problems this season was the opening 4 games where we conceded 13 goals made Dyche even more conservative.

We conceded only 12 goals in 15 games in this period, but the problem is also only 11 goals scored.

We’ll see if he changes it up against Peterborough, there’s no excuse not to.

The media are steaming in on him from all angles and the fans are reaching Benitez levels of anger.

If he goes for his Dyche masterclass of nine men behind the ball on Thursday, he should be marched out of the ground at full time.

Over to you Sean.

Wood doesn't surprise me, if you hit double diggits in a Dyche team in 4 seasons and terrible players and playstyle around you, you have some individual quality.

Newcastle didn't work out, but a better manager under Nuno gives even more strength to that.

But DCL say 9 chances missed this season, they came out of spells of 2-3 games, probably 5-6 of them Ipswich as I said. Cannot remember him missing his last sitter lately.
He missed a 1 on 1 early on in the season and whiffed a (what looked like) simple finish, from memory, there's probably more.

Ah. Apologies.

Wood still got 10+ a season under Dyche in previous seasons though. So the narrative is more they had more of a chance of staying up if they kept him with half a season to go.
Maybe, but we will never know, he didn’t do very well at Newcastle, but he has been a decent. Prem striker over the last few years.
But he was having a poor season as was dyche and burley.
It’s no different to saying we can’t sack dyche because he got 48 points last season

He will, probably, and we'll play better, probably, and win, most likely, and go back to hoofball 4-4-1-1 the next league game.

Remember when we crapped on Villa in the cup with the only time we switched tactics and went 3-5-2? Yeah it never happened again, this is the only time we did it  Then we bought another CB so we can play 3-5-2 again, maybe, but just don't do it EVER.

Are they? Looking at any of their threads you'd think they can't defend either. We don't set up any full back for any success, as I said - we have no idea what to do with the position/combination of full back and winger; case and point are both wingers being deployed as wingbacks half the time and having the primary idea to defend (i.e. we overload only going back... interestingly).
Which proves Dyche understands the value of an overload, but just won't do it on attack
Brentford do both

He should not be in position now -the new owners must be lining up a new Manager surely?
