2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Sadly I now think he will be here for the Villa game. Otherwise I think he would have been gone by now.
Exactly this, everyone was bouncing all over the place last night on a false rumour... Dyche is here for Peterborough and no doubt TFG will try and stretch that out until the summer.

I don`t think that is feasible though, as many have said we will in all likelihood be relegated if Dyche stays in charge, 99% of Evertonians see through this idiot and want him gone.

Unfortunately it very much seems we are not getting the ruthless TFG that we see at Roma, I can only deduce that is for reasons I have specified previously.

I`ve only seen Benitez that was as universally unpopular than Dyche, why TFG would leave a manager failing as badly as him in place with his numbers also suggests nothing will change. So again it appears that the professional TFG we thought we were getting also looks a million miles away.

I can`t believe they are holding off sacking Dyche to try and persuade Potter to join, Potter a man that pulls the marginally better numbers in the PL with Brighton and Chelsea... If a manager is so good it`s worth falling out with the fans for it had better be a manager significantly more successful than Potter!

Wood doesn't surprise me, if you hit double diggits in a Dyche team in 4 seasons and terrible players and playstyle around you, you have some individual quality.

Newcastle didn't work out, but a better manager under Nuno gives even more strength to that.

But DCL say 9 chances missed this season, they came out of spells of 2-3 games, probably 5-6 of them Ipswich as I said. Cannot remember him missing his last sitter lately.
Bambinatore is doing his best to avoid the ball nothing to do with Dyche.

My own take is that he's gone . Or about to be. But unlike the previous regime they won't actually pull the trigger until the replacement is signed and sealed..
I`s say the fanbase and the club would get a boost if Dyche was sacked without a replacement, I think Baines/Tait/Coleman are all capable of getting a result v Peterbrough, with all due respect to them...

Even Joe Royle/Peter Reid could get a win in that game with these players... Or a mix of all them above!

Can see why they might want to wait until the ideal replacement is sealed, but if Dyche knows he’s on the way out, that can’t be good for his motivation. We can’t afford to be throwing points away with a departing manager doing a half-hearted job.
