2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I was concerned we might be repeating the last few years by holding on until the window is all but closed to sack him, so we can use that as the excuse not to buy players, but if the Philogene rumours are true then that's obviously not the case and I fully expect him gone ASAP.
Surely they say to Philogene, "you`ll be playing under Sean Dyche" at which point I would expect him to go elsewhere...

A new manager has a much much better pull than Dinosaur Dyche.... his position is untenable but TFG seem to be hanging him out.

While Philogene is a player we went for in the summer, and nothing is finalised yet, this new rumour came pretty well out of the blue. Just because we're not all invited to the gallows, doesn't mean Seany D isn't walking The Green Mile as we speak. Faith, brother.

why would that make a difference?
My thinking about the Lampard and Dyche appointments was that they were deliberately left late (or rather, the sacking of their predecessors was) so that we could use that as an excuse for not doing much in the window. I was worried we were doing the same again, but if we ARE being active early in the window then that theory goes up in smoke.

If Dyche is not being kept around to waste the window away, I genuinely - and I am sure my optimism will prove misplaced - think he'll be gone before Villa, if not even P'Boro.
