2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

We don't play Spurs until the 19th, and we play Aston Villa before Spurs on the 15th. Ideally, I'd like him gone on Friday morning (I'm accepting that he will be in the job for the Peterborough game), and a replacement in on the same day. At the very latest we should have a replacement sorted by Monday morning if they are to sack him.

Getting my dates all confused - I was bloody miles out …makes sense now

No. I think he is a problem but we need the right manager to in behind him that can keep us up. Not knowing who that manager is makes me nervous

Something is wrong then isn’t there. Why would anyone be hesitant to ask blatant questions unless it would be a problem.

She even does the fan event stuff by the Park End so if the club had a problem , why is she doing that.

I don’t mind her, I just see her getting heaps of praise for asking the obvious and think it’s sad that’s the case, when everyone should be pointing out the obvious given the state we are in.

My guess for his first dychism for todays press conference will be how there has been 'noise' since he has been here.

'noise' i remember that, Sound made when team scores goal. I used to enjoy football.

Had his ego well and truly bruised this week. Stats are awful. Articles and rumours appearing mean it’s only gonna end one way, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Everton's goals-per-game ratio this season is the worst it has been in 13 years - could it mark the end for Sean Dyche's time as manager?

Digging further into the numbers makes for grim reading:

• Only in three seasons in Everton's history have they scored fewer goals after playing this number of league games.
• They currently have the division's lowest expected goals (xG) rate at 18.33.
• The Merseysiders have had 63 shots on target this season. The Saints are the only side to fare worse with a lowly 58.
• They had zero shots on target in Saturday's 1-0 loss at Bournemouth and the goalless draw at Arsenal last month.
• Everton's goals per game rate of 0.79 is the lowest number for the team in the past 13 seasons. It has dropped from 1.05 last term and 0.89 in 2022-23.
