2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Tbh I think it's better to keep him in place till new manager secured, it looks more professional...we have no-one obviously as caretaker( baines has zero experience) and we have seen other clubs results (including ours) get worse under a caretaker, it also looks dreadful to potential transfer incomings
Nah throw him in the wheelie bin, binnies come tomorrow so it's good timing.

Maybe you're blind or deaf but the very fact he's been asked about his future at the club indicates they're actively looking elsewhere? obviously like lol
It's "1+1=2" journalism as I said.

Everton have bad results + New Owners = there must be an upcoming managerial change imminent.

Nothing concrete, nothing attributable to anyone who knows anything that's happening at Everton. Instead everyone is losing their minds at the same rehashed Whatsapp and social media posts. If it's been written down anywhere, of course the journalists at the press conference are asking him that - it's their job. They would ask the same question of any incumbent manager of a side in the lower reaches of the table.

The Friedkin's best outcome - and the best outcome for us as far as PSR / transfer budget goes - would be to not need to sack Dyche, and let him leave at the end of his contract in the summer.

Granted, that's not the best outcome for our bleeding eyes watching this garbage.

And of course, that's only possible if results improve - so there will be a very large element of hoping that happens quickly, too.

The real question is where their red line is. I'm not sure we're there yet.

I am against thoughtless manager sackings almost every time, but in Dyche's case I have barely things that convince me he manages us to make a sudden turn around.

Clearly we are all guessing and speculating, but I don't think it's based on nothing.

Results are very firmly in the territory where this stuff is going to be discussed. There would not be a single club where that wouldn't be the case.

Of course TFG will be concerned and they will have discussions. The media feed off that by their nature but that's par for the course too.

If Dyche is sacked then it won't come as a surprise exactly.

I think we're coming to the final bend with Dyche. There can't be many people who think he'll survive the next two league games without positive results and at least one win. He even said himself yesterday that he regarded succession planning as normal in this situation.
