I am horribly conflicted about all of it.

He has done a miraculous job since he came, but some of the performances (disregarding results here) have been abysmal.

I enjoy watching us fight, but there's no plan B. It's all one dimensional.

I don't agree. I don't think the Athletic is any great shakes at all. And, without personalising it to the journalist in question, I don't think the overall quality of general Everton coverage anywhere is much to write home about. How’s he isolated O’Brien? Up until the last two games, the defence was one performing up there with the best in Europe. You can’t just throw players in without justification. O’Brien was bought with succession planning in mind.

Well he did throw in the dependable Mr Keane when we had injuries to that amazing backline, you would have thought O’Brien might have been given a bit of a chance.

It’s amusing to me that people throwing out the 12th shout as we currently sit 16th and on track for 34 points the very next season, is a favourable argument for the manager.
