2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

For me it’s more about giving the media more ammunition than needed, they’re already going to make him a martyr as it is.

I couldn’t give a toss about him, his attitude stunk and he insulted people’s intelligence with his attempts to deflect scrutiny in games and situations.

Irrelevant to us though really. No one cares what Paul Merson spews on Sky Sports News HD.

Yeah, this forum has been abusing and vilifying Dyche every other post. The ‘classless statement’ shouts are a bit hollow.
He was getting very well paid for doing a poor job and if reports are to be believed he pockets £5 mill. I think if I was to be sacked and given a £5 mill golden handshake I don’t think I would be bothered if that handshake was offered begrudgingly. Remember this is a man who hit a young player, I not sure we should be pointing fingers particularly when we don’t know what happened today to warrant his dismissal hours before an FA Cup game.

He did well keeping us up, and I thank him for that, but the job remit had changed and he wasn’t the man for it.

We are heading one way and the teams we are competing with are improving while we are in free fall with the brand of football on display being unwatchable.

Now the owners need to ship out some of these players who haven’t performed for numerous managers and who’s careers have come as far as they should with Everton.

He could have took a dump in the changing rooms, called Everton's new owners and management team everything under the sun and walked out wearing a Liverpool top.

Doesn't matter, image and Everton first. A statement of his sacking should include thanks or ref for their time. It's a classless statement, not befitting of Everton. Those responsible - a lot who were around for that statement against the fans prior to Southampton - should give their head a wobble. Anyway, won't keep banging on about it, most - even those who really disliked him, if honest will raise an eyebrow at that statement.

theyl do another statement

really not assed anymore that we have to br all nicely about it

na let’s grow balls and start acting big

Im made up hes gone and I disliked the fella a lot, but its not great.

Play the game, say thanks a lot at the very least, wish him well for the future, we all know is never meant, but basic decency yano?

I guess we from a different era.

Kids of today.
