They were hoping to persuade Potter at the 11th hour, that has failed but they have gone through with the sacking anyway

At this point there is probably no plan beyond Baines

Poor form in that statement, he deserved thanks and a bit more respect.
I'm all for cold headed business decisions and efficiency, but none of that is compromised by some courtesy and respect.
Gonna be honest mate, if he hasnt signed an NDA, this turd will dishing the goss on the behind the scenes stuff to line his pockets further, he needed to go, he needed to go Sunday, they hesitated, for whatever reason and now he has gone its what we all wanted. The comms team will never get everything right and maybe a nod to him but that is all he deserved, hes creamed 5 mill a season for quite possibly the worst football any of us have ever seen and has rightfully fallen on his sword!

when he starts dishing the dirt as i say if no NDA has been signed, there wont be a good word said about him!

Dicey move. Better get the hire right or its curtains. If the club didn't have new ownership I'd say we were about to find out just how stabilizing Dyche has been in a club with zero functional leadership - hopefully ownership has a sound plan and will break the cycles we've seen to date.

It's not about him it is about us as a Club. He just wasn't good enough but that does not mean that we should not thank him and show a bit of class.

But separately we knew his limitations before he came. He did a job that we all thought he would do but then his approach stagnated the players so much that it resulted in this sterile style of play. Is anyone surprised about how things have turned out?

The next manager will inherit a team that knows how to defend.
I'm afraid it's no longer a polite gentleman's world.
We are owned by a ruthless American business corporation.

that would be backwards!
I for one would be made up if moyes signs. We need to create the foundations for the next long term manager before we go down that route. Moyes would keep us up and leave us in a much better position than we are in now in a few years time
