2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Absolutely the necessary and correct outcome, relieved it was relatively early (lots of noise that he had villa and spurs etc.).

There'll be loads of conflicting views but for me the bottom line is Everton are by far the biggest and highest profile club Dyche will ever manage. Dyche is a long way from being the biggest and highest profile manager Everton have had or will have in the future.

This was his one shot, he could or would not properly grasp it in terms of having the courage to move away from defending the V at all costs.

The funniest part is all his little attack dogs on here saying he just needed investment and what do you expect him to do when we don’t spend any money, then when offered the opportunity to be backed with transfers he went “nah you know what I’m not good enough anyway”. Hilarious. Too much of a coward to have any expectations whatsoever placed on him, just wants to live in 17th place while telling the whole world how hard he has it.

Isn’t it bizarre how every manager basically has a faction like that on here, regardless of how rough things get in their managerial stint

The Benitez one remains the strangest, whilst the Martinez one was the most toxic

I know that everywhere it's saying dyche has been sacked but our club statement says "relieved of his duties" is this perhaps words to cover he's still in our employ but on gardening leave so we don't have pay him up his contract up front?

The other little thing about that which just occurred to me is that if he is on gardening leave and being paid to the summer does that gag him on talking about his removal. Dyche loves talking about dyche and distancing himself from any blame. Id have thought the next few weeks any show he can blame everyone else he'd be on it.
I wonder if he's still being payed changes that.

To me reading between the lines Dyche gave up the minute the new owners walked in as he knew after speaking to them, they indicated that he needs to win games, he has never had that pressure before from anyone, at Burnley he just plodded along.

Here he has had the other issues to help with his limited abilities, as long as he kept us up fans would jog along with him.

This season was a chance to kick on slightly to maybe mid table, again his limited ability bit him on his ar#×

So with him saying to them on mon I can't take the team any further forward but I am not resigning, the owners have had no option but to dismiss him, he basically couldn't be bothered with pressure of having to win games and answer to someone in authority, which is something he has never really done.

Anyone feeling sorry for him, needs to give their heads a wobble as it is certainly not me, he has stolen a living out of football management, he is all about himself and a bully to boot.

what will be interesting is his next job, maybe we can sing then when his team comes to Bramley Moor " How do you watch this every week?"
