2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I don’t think people in this thread actually take notice of what’s happening on the pitch.

Yesterday was an extreme way of playing to try and grind out a result away from home and it worked.

I haven’t seen us play like that often this season. Even against United it was different.
But Utd aren’t as good a side as Arsenal, so maybe we have a little bit more of the ball and find it’s little easier to find spaces v them and they don’t keep the ball as well, but the set up is virtually the same every week his whole game plan is not to concede a goal, once that happens we fall apart and have no answer

Like ive said mate, this is how we play 9 out of 10 games. This isnt a one off, its horrid to watch absolutely horrid.

Bournemouth players are average they are looking better than they are because of the managers way of playing and being positive.
Forrest have Chris Wood upfront and are scoring for fun
Brighton have your Welbecks Lewis Dunks and James Milners

Ok let me put it this way, Forest Bournemouth Brighton Brentford Fulham wouldnt be were they are now with Dyche as their manager.
They would be in or around the bottom 3 and Dyche would be saying "other teams have the quality' he is bluffing us on a weekly basis.
The only reason we're still in the division is because the little yo-yo clubs that we compete with can't match our outlay on the individual players that keep our head above water.

They wouldn't be able to keep one of the world's best shot stoppers for eight years, or turn down £50m bids for one centre-back while paying the other triple what anyone else would. They can't pay Champions League wages to players like Gueye and Doucoure in exchange for just about getting over the line in a relegation battle, or let their striker run his contract down because they wasted £50m on forwards that can't get a game.

These are the most favourable conditions that a no mark like Dyche could ever hope to experience.

Do people really think the new fellas will sack him immediately?
Maybe not immediately like day 1 but i will be surprised if they waste any January transfer funds on him if there are any. I still think that they will already have their preferred manager lined up tbh. They have been very busy in the background and very little gets leaked with these guys.

I think they’ll stick with him until the end of the season sadly. They will view it as survival at any cost this season and will see Dyche as a safe pair of hands to achieve that. It’s probably an accurate assessment when all said and done. It will just mean more grim home games against average teams to endure and complete surrender of games in the others.

That’s the narrative he put out before a ball was even kicked this season mate, and it looks like you have fell for it mate.
When you got Young, Coleman, Patterson, Harrison and Lindstrom as your Right flank, it is what it is - they'd struggle in the Championship.
And who do they link with in attack - Doucs and DCL/Beto.
There's a decent argument to be had that a high % of the managers in the sides in and around Everton would get Everton relegated with any other approach than what Dyche is using.
I'm no fan of his and when hopefully more players like Ndaiye and Tim come in I want to see Dyche gone. But for now it is what it is.

Dyche is not going to change.
He's going to hopefully not get us relegated and that's v good considering the squad we have in this league.
On the other hand this team doesn't seem like it will progress with him.
Maybe we'll look more fondly on him once he's gone.
There are things he can do though. I'm hoping he'll see the sense in bringing on the partnership of Ndaiye (10) and Broja (9) through the middle. He can still base a strong defense around that.

No it isn’t.

People upset at a proper Burnley away point. Much prefer our usual pounding.
