Duncan Castles is very unreliable and most of what he posts is utter bollox. Clickbait and muddy the waters before Sunday. Just ignore the fool.
I ignore every journalist about absolutely everything now. It must be a great way to make a living just making anything up and seeing how many people will believe it. And unfortunately despite being lied to thousands of times before people will always believe the next time.

Managers, like everyone else is judged on results. If he keeps us up then great he's done a great job. If we drop, it's on him.

What a load of rubbish. The result of one game doesn't determine whether a manager has done a great job or deserves the sack for failure.

Thank god you're not responsible for hiring managers if one game can swing your opinions from one extreme to the other.

If Dyche is sacked, regardless of the outcome of this season, I'm done.
It would be a ridiculous decision but I don't think it would happen. When MSP come on board I imagine the first thing they will insist on is stability rather than rolling the dice with one of Moshiri's maverick ideas. They are said to be into the data driven side of sport and any delve into the numbers since Dyche came in, whether its points per game, XG or chance creation or whatever, show great improvement, even if some fans haven't taken to him. I think they will see progress and want it to continue.

Wouldnt it be 18 games?

if he keeps us up i don’t think he will he sacked he will then be given time

Yes, if you're basing your decision on how those 18 games have gone, the style of football, the points gained, the progress or otherwise that's been made, as well as the direction of travel, how you see the manager performing next season, the players he thinks are needed or that he can obtain, etc.

However, the post I responded to suggested if we stay up he's done a great job, if we go down he deserves the sack for failure. Purely based on the outcome of Sunday. One football game, where anything could happen.

The decision on whether he stays or goes should not ride on 90 minutes of football. The bigger picture should drive the decision.

I'm not so sure mate, I domt really see a Dyche team going that far up the table. We will surely want to push on next season and hopefully try to get some good players in. Do you think Dyche can attract better players ?

Next steps are clear...

Tidy up the books
Lower the wage bill
Make a small profit
Stay out of a relegation fight
Finance the Stadium.

Anything else on how to perform on the pitch is down to the manager and DoF
