The worst thing about this appointment over Bielsa is that most of our squad will be delighted they don't have to work as hard as Leeds players did getting paid less than half as much.
Uninspiring, depressing af appointment.
'But he'll keep us up' based on no evidence other than hard earned backs to the wall draws from harder hungrier players. Half our squad probably think they're above him.
Life's too short. I'd rather we went down swinging and playing Bielsaball in the Championship(presuming he couldn't get a tune out of them sooner) and fighting for a promotion than playing Dycheball in the Prem, scraping draws and holding on by our fingernails, bored.
I'm bored already.

Dyche and Gordon at training tomorrow

We have been playing crap but I genuinely don't think our team on paper should be joint bottom. We have just been far too easy to play against, rubbish teams scoring for fun. He will make us harder to beat, will get all the players running around and more importantly for me - we as fans watching will at least know what he is trying to do. It may not be pretty or enjoyable but I for one will be happy going the match knowing we have some sort of a plan. There were games under frank when I had no clue what he was telling the players to do.

You’re absolutely crackers you lot.

Properly poisonous.

Full disclosure - I’m a Burnley fan. And I also agree that the football under Dyche in the Premier League was, at times, bloody awful.

However, we had absolutely no business being in the Premier League when he took over. The week before the promotion season started he lost Charlie Austin, our one really proven player, and was forced to go with two rookie strikers. He turned Tom Heaton, Ben Mee, Kieran Trippier and Danny Ings from jobbing Championship footballers to internationals - or near as damn it.

The first thing he did was told the players he would not accept anything less than 100%. If you weren’t up for it you were out the door. He had one to one meetings with the players and asked them all to name the trouble makers in the squad - made them think about their behaviour and standards. He asked them why they accepted that slacking off and challenged them to self police the dressing room. He established a culture which elevated them beyond their levels and had us winning at United, Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Chelsea and playing you off the park at your place. That sounds to me a lot better than getting beat at home by Southampton, Wolves and Leicester like you lot have.

Your club is a mess. It has been a mess for decades now. Proper decades. You need a massive reality check and until you accept where you are and what you are you will not improve. Doesn’t matter what you’ve spent, doesn’t matter where you think you should be …… all that matters right now is where you are and how you get out of it.

Bielsa would have been a mental appointment. Absolutely crackers. Dyche gives you a chance if you give him a chance.

This is exactly what we need, and many of our fans have their heads in the sand and wont accept our situation.

We need all this what this chap says.

Youre comparing Everton to Burnley there for attracting players, we have more money and are a considerably bigger club
Can you please imagine trying to sign top level players for Burnley? ''yeah mate the areas awful and we average 20k fans a week''
Keep telling yourself that mate. We don't have much money, are struggling badly, won't be a PL team for much longer, and you would have to play kick and rush football under Dyche. What good players will ever want to play for him?

Can also guarantee that the average age of our squad is about to shoot up when we should be signing young, hungry talented players.

Yeah cuz if I was a footballer who was going to obviously use the club as a stepping stone/payday I'd definitely consider titles from before my lifetime as considerable, definitely. Definitely not where the clubs currently are and how they play.

As opposed to "yeah mate the areas aren't really that great honestly and we do average a lot of fans but they're all negative all the time and will boo you at the first opportunity".

Lampard was a premier league legend that’s why he managed to attract Onana. Sean Dyche is a Burnley legend. He is a better manager tho so will do well with the players we already have.
I would say Dyche is also a premier league legend for what he managed to achieve over a long period of time at Burnley. Fortunately also hes a legend in the management department and not just a legendary player whos found out to be gash manager.
