2022/23 Sean Dyche

If we're out of the relegation zone by a decent margin (4/5 points) there'd be no excuse to sack Dyche. Also, we dont know the fixtures yet. Our hardest games could all be front loaded to the first half of the season, so it'd make no sense getting shut of anyone if we were bottom 5/6 at that stage.
It’s worth saying again that Lampard and Dyche may have shared a season but Dyche had no transfer windows (technically about 2 days at the start of his tenure) and the harder fixtures.

Dyche had Arsenal home and away and when he came in we’d already lost crunch relegation fixtures home to Southampton, Leicester and Wolves who were all dire at the time we faced them.

Frank Lampard

@Alan Whittle care to inform them? Anyway, Lampard might be the new Steve Bruce or the next Ancelotti. Jury is out.

Who’s the joke?? You put Ancelotti and Lampard in the same paragraph?? Have you lost it ?? You and your family are the biggest embarrassment in the history of this forum pal.
“ he might be the next Steve Bruce! Or Ancelotti !! 😂

You got way more absolute insane messages about lampard on this forum. You have 0 football IQ like Frank and it’s obvious. How can anyone take you seriously. Before you come with a claim about me on the Dyche thre check yourself.

My claims aren’t always right about Dyche but as I said Dyche deserves the season and in no way or form am I going to say he’s the next Ancelotti!! Because nobody is. Wash your mouth.
Hello mate.

Rent free. Your head. The view is stupendous.

😄

Of course not but you said you guarantee people will get sick of Dyche’s tactics

I guarantee they won’t if we’re getting results

It seems a long time ago now but don’t forget there were people willing to give Benitez a chance after we had a decent first five or so results at the start of his horrible tenure so I have every belief that if results are coming in, which I think they will if we don’t lose anyone important and bring in a few smart signings like a striker who stays fit and gets goals and a full back or two, Dyche will easily see out next season without too much discontent.

Style of play will only become a problem if results aren’t improving and we reach that midtable obscurity feeling again but I think we’d all take midtable obscurity with a cup run or two for now no matter the style of play
My point is that, on the balance of all the evidence at Burnley and so far with us, we will likely be somewhere a little over a point per game with a pretty low goals scored total (for balance we will also likely have a very low goals against total). That's pretty much par for a Sean Dyche team. That will probably be enough to avoid relegation, which apparently should be the sum total of our ambitions for the next few seasons according to many on here, but it'll get old real fast for the match going public and will consolidate the current media position that we are relegation fodder.

It shouldn’t be the height of our ambition but, given the awful squad we’ve got right now, it’s going to take any manager a couple of seasons (and related transfer windows) to get us heading towards the European places. It’s just being pragmatic about what a dreadful state we’re in right now and how long it’s going to take to bring in better players while we’re still at Goodison and are limited in our revenues, so still suffering FFP.

What do you suggest our ambitions should be with no money and a squad that's awful? I'm more than happy dyche stays in charge if it means we can remain out of the relegation battle next season and have a bit of stability for a nice change.

He needs more time
Not rent free at all. Gain more knowledge bud then you can come at me. 😂
But I don't need to come at you. Your trail of effluents spread over the forum shows you up for what you are fella.

And you keep nibbling. Trying to goad. Failing. You'll be back. Then when one of us puts you in your place you come on trying it on. Just give up mate. Everyone is laughing at you.

Who is everyone? You never put me in my place lad I’m questioning your intelligence

You compared lampard to Ancelotti lol
Did you fall down a stairwell at some point in your life?

Ancelotti is a top top manager only a fool would mention lampard and Ancelotti together.

Deary me. Are you making fun of people who have brain injuries and the like mate?

Poor form.

Now, to go back to the quote in question you'll see I also said he may end up like Steve Bruce. So I took the polar extremes of managerial competence in a rhetorical flourish to make a point. I'd suggest the nuance is lost on you.

Let's take a look at some of your mensa level posting on Dyche and several other things while we are at it...

If he does. Can we all agree that Dyche deserves the sack?

Sack him if we’re relegated.
He continues if he saves us.

Bar one post in the midst of a ton of hysterics about Lampard, Dyche and relegation you said Dyche should stay if we stay up.

You're all over the shop man.

Interesting to see ForeverWoke92 liking those posts too.

Anyone with a brain can see Dyche has improved us.

I have no idea if Dyche will crash and burn, get us merrily up the table, or somewhere in between. The game is the game and if he crashes so be it - a few will revel in it, others won't. It's the absolute certainty and folk like our mate throwing haymakers at posters that makes me chuckle. Keeps us entertained at least!
