It’s worth saying again that Lampard and Dyche may have shared a season but Dyche had no transfer windows (technically about 2 days at the start of his tenure) and the harder fixtures.If we're out of the relegation zone by a decent margin (4/5 points) there'd be no excuse to sack Dyche. Also, we dont know the fixtures yet. Our hardest games could all be front loaded to the first half of the season, so it'd make no sense getting shut of anyone if we were bottom 5/6 at that stage.
Dyche had Arsenal home and away and when he came in we’d already lost crunch relegation fixtures home to Southampton, Leicester and Wolves who were all dire at the time we faced them.
