Steve Stone as first team coach is being overlooked. A great addition.
…. I’m genuinely interested how anybody who is not directly involved with a coach knows, unless he’s been widely praised by players he’s worked with.

The run-in which saw them get just one point from their final four games. The problem is that he wasn't manager for the run in

Moyes part 2 incoming
And another half dozen haven’tI'm curious to know how it would end us? Leeds, Newcastle, Man City, Villa and West Ham are all decent sized clubs that were relegated in the last 25 years and have all bounced back, some better than others.
This interview changed the way I thought about Dyche. Hoping he’s successful here
It is a bit strange that you mention Bordelas. One of many Spanish managers who have become known through coaching teams with small budgets, and where in the defensive phase you play classic 4-4-2, and otherwise play at low risk.
Kjetil Knutsen plays a classic "Nils Arne Eggen" 4-3-3, which is quite widespread in Norway. But he has done a fabulous job. At the same time, the transition from the Norwegian League to PL is absolutely enormous.
Knutsen is the manager of a club that few people in Norway care about - despite its success - and which has limited interest in the press. Their home ground has a capacity of 8,200 spectators. To go from a club where there is hardly any pressure, which few people care about, to a relegation battle in the PL is madness.
Only if you...I honestly didn't go down the road of looking into candidates closely because I knew we were ending up here the whole time. But guys like Tedesco and Bordalas who are out of work seem better. Kjetil Knutsen is my let's get crazy option. There are a bunch of guys at smaller clubs in Spain, Germany and elsewhere in Europe that I'd be interested in talking to at the very least.
It's really hard to say. It takes a long time to scout out a manager and I don't know what our plan overall might be. It all has to fit.
I think he’s the safe bet to get us out of the championship personally. I can’t fault him for taking the job on that basis. Hence the 2 1/2 year contract. If we dont get at least two in through the door today I'm going to assume this feller has joined us for the cash and thrill of managing a club of Everton;s stature.
There's no way any manager should have put pen to paper at this club without assurances of incoming strikers. He'd know he's giving himself no chance whatsoever of doing a survival job in this league.
I only listened to that one. Quite a lot of inspirational middle-manager buzzwords. I personally wouldn't listen to anymore unless it involves evertonTo be fair I’ve only just come across this one, I tend not to listen to a lot of sports podcasts. Is the show worth a listen generally?
I sincerely hope he hasn't signed up for a Championship campaign.I think he’s the safe bet to get us out of the championship personally. I can’t fault him for taking the job on that basis. Hence the 2 1/2 year contract.
