So pretty important thenFor what division we play in next year the results matter.
For who our manager is the results don't matter.
No it genuinely is. I'm not going to go player by player but with the exception of Coleman who is really terrible and maybe Coady I think you have something to work with from basically every other player. But what has given you that impression? It can’t be anything you’ve observed from seeing them play football.
I was talking about Dyche though specifically and they aren't important for our evaluation of his performance. So pretty important then
Probably seeing if any of them could “do a job”.At the u23s game tonight. Does he really like stadium food or is he very meticulous about his job

They are. If the results are good enough he’ll keep us in the division, which let’s be honest will be a minor miracleI was talking about Dyche though specifically and they aren't important for our evaluation of his performance.
I'm not saying we could make Europe, that's impossible, and top half might be too, but I think we've got enough where the last two years could have been comfortably 13th or something. That is an interesting observation you’ve made there Ig. I don’t agree, I think they’re mostly all very bad.
If the performances stink he should still get sackedThey are. If the results are good enough he’ll keep us in the division, which let’s be honest will be a minor miracle

As I said I'm just not that far down on them. Part of the reason none of our players can pass is that no one knows where anyone is going to end up and the PL doesn't offer you time to figure that out without getting the ball nicked.Personally I think we’ve got the worst attacking options in the entire league, and by a distance now after January. The midfield aside from Onana is an absolute train wreck too and none of them can pass a football. The back 4 is non-paced and they’re all awful on the ball. No seriously, we are the worst team in the league.
I think you’re right on that but up to the final one or two forward positions - that’s what fundamentally let’s us downI'm not saying we could make Europe, that's impossible, and top half might be too, but I think we've got enough where the last two years could have been comfortably 13th or something.

But even within this you've got issues like putting the one player who can pass forward even a little bit in a spot where his ability to is limited, insisting on playing Mykolenko when Vinagre can at least cross a little, and not putting together a system that allows your questionable attackers to at least get the ball up the field and in the final third with some options. The full backs are hopeless and offer nothing defensively or going forward. The wide players offer no creativity. The centre backs are slow and poor on the ball. The midfield is made up of players that can’t pass forwards. It’s definitely more than the forwards that are the issue.

No they aren't good but there is more here.
