there is a sect of fans who worshipped Lampard and made excuse after excuse for him putting uneccesary pressure on Dyche very early doors.

They just can't get over the cockney ones sacking so will try create instability about the place. 🐍

No there wasnt. You're like a murdoch type hack sitting at a desk with bad breath and coffee stained teeth just making up your own sh!t.

While we are here. Its by no means dyche fault. But you were the one creaming your kecks for him because you said the squad here is his level. He was the one to go with what we have. Well we are very what you wanted at least. 1 goal from open play in 5 games.
You've at least got your Burnley that you were craving for.

You've never supported Dyche because you dreamed of Potterball rocking up ere.

The same Potterball who's taken Chelsea into the bottom half and had high flying Brighton 16th...

I wasnt for dyche no. Not because of potter. But because dyche over 10 years at Burnley had a stat of more points than actual goals.
Saying that, he's walked into a club that cant even offer him an ashley barnes.

100% blameless in my eyes. He’s been sent out to war with a toothpick.
Then learn hand to hand combat rather than kitchen craft. I like Dyche and the cut of his jib but he lacks the skillset for what we really need at the moment imo. We are a rag tag mob of misfits, top heavy in certain areas. We needed someone who was very tactically aware and tactically cute and who has shown they can operate in this setup and has shown they can motivate and improve players and get them playing, Corberan at WBA would have been perfect imo. Dyche is very much a one way, one formation and hard work guy, the discipline side is something much needed and I like but the rest of it will cost us in the long run imo.

Sorry mate, no manager on the planet could turn it around with our forward options. It’s a hopeless situation and Dyche is probably the most qualified to turn it around.

Points taken, however 2 goals in 5 games is everything everyone 'feared' about Dycheball when he was appointed.
It's got nothing to do with "Dycheball"! At the moment it's down to the total inability of certain players to just stick it in the back of the net. Should have been 2/3 nil up on Saturday before Villa even had a sniff, yet not one of those chances gets taken!
The lack of a half decent goalscorer(s) is what will do for us, and thats down to anyone and everyone involved in recruitment!

When we appointed Lampard, I felt if we went down we should sack him.

I feel very differently with Dyche, he has a bigger challenge given points/no Richarlison/Gordon as well as the apathy across the club. He also has credentials of having achieved promotion twice at the first time of asking.

I get there's a lot of anxiety, worry and frustration - and that can make all of us make some very erratic, kneejerk and frankly daft comments.

No Everton manager should ever get a free pass but;

Arsenal (H) 1-0 3pts
Liverpool (A) 0-2 0pts
Leeds (H) 1-0 3pts
Aston Villa (H) 0-2 0pts.
Arsenal (A) 4-0 0pts.

6 points is as good as I'd have hoped for there. I'd have snapped hands off for 2 home wins vs Leeds and Aston Villa, expecting to lose 2x vs Arsenal and Liverpool.

Liverpool and Arsenal away our as hard a game for any Everton manager as you're going to get.

If he can carry on the form he's had - get us 2 wins in every 5 until the end of the season - we stay up.

I don't agree with that at all, its an easy excuse because we won't look outside the UK for a manager and always have to go for the 'PL experience' crap, something which has never gotten us anywhere over the years. We have still never appointed anyone who actually coaches players and improves them. For starters there are 100's of different tactical formations and many of them include not playing with a forward, it is possible you just have to be tactically flexible and creative which is not Dyche.

Not having the 'Dyche ball' nonsense shouts either. Without any surprise to those paying attention- we are the leagues lowest goalscorers - just like we were bottom for chances created last season and this. I'm convinced if we had brought in an Ings/Wood type and Dyche earlier, we'd be comfortable. It's not hindsight stuff either. [Post 1] [Post 2]

Dyche has definitely improved us going forward - we're playing better, it's just... SHOCK, we're absolutely useless in the final third. Dyche isn't going to start making Doucoure make a composed finish when 1 on 1.
