2022/23 Sean Dyche

He could well end up being this generation’s David Moyes. He will organise our defence (which includes his former charge Tarkowski), he will make us harder to beat and he could ultimately save our great club from extinction.

He guided Burnley to European qualification with a far inferior squad to the one we currently have.

I want Bielsa but we could do worse than Dyche.
Exactly he's used up all of his fortune. Sam had Bolton in Europe once and no surprise it never happened again.

Pickford
Patterson Coady Tarkowski Mykolenko
McNeil Garner Onana Gray
Dominic Calvert-Lewin Maupay

Doesnt matter who the manager is or what the tactics are...

We have nothing on the wings or up front.

Since when do the initials of DCL magically turn into his full name :(

Just sat down and watched that Coaches' Voice with Dyche that someone here linked earlier.

What a load of nonesense! How can someone talk for so long about a basic 4-4-2 based on a mid-press, low-block and longballs?? There was nothing about it that was actually technical about what he was saying at all. He is just trying to make it sound that way. To listen to him talk, you would think Burnley were good. My question for him would be, fine, but if this is the case why were your teams so awful to watch?

2 personal highlights were when he kept trying to suggest that Burnley didn't play longball at Turf Moor (??) and when he described Jeff Hendrick as creative.

Christ we are in for some bad times ahead. How anyone can be convinced hy that is beyond me.

People on here saying Dyche would be the ‘safe’ or ‘sensible’ option is doing my head in. How can we expect the owner and board to get us the best possible when a shocking amount of supporters now think Dyche is that? He isnt. Hes the boring, easy choice. Hes a poor mans Sam Allardyce. He is not what we need.

What we need is safe we are not in any position for anything else.

Why would you think Dyche is that? We dont need to grind out single points, at best, we need someone capable of getting our attack going. We need to win games. Dyche is not the man for that. He couldnt even keep it going with a squad he built for his style of football, what makes you think he would be able to do it with our squad? Thinking Dyche equals safety is illogical. If thats the kind of football we ‘need’, bring Sam back. He might be less likeable than Dyche is, but hes twice the manager.

I dont want either.
