I know he's not a dream appointment, and I'm pretty sure we'll get relegated under him (and most other managers), but he is at least an honest guy who works hard, and won't stand for any shirking. This is the minimum needed in the Championship. I think given our lack of work ethic, we will struggle if we go down. Trendy managers are all well and good, but managers like Cooper, Warnock, Dyche get consistent results in the lower leagues. Long term planning is out of the window, we need to stabilise the playing side of the club until our owner and board leave, and then hopefully we can start again.
He can’t attract player. Would decent players want to play for him?

His four four two analysis is absolute shades of Mike Bassett.

The appointment of Lampard was the right profile of manager, he was unfortunately the wrong candidate.

Carlos Corberán is the right option, if Bielsa was our first target.

You don't change philosophy, from front foot high energy football to low block 4-4-2 football aids.

I am not saying dyche is the best manager in the world but he is a better manager than Lampard
I think this is hard to argue with. Dyche did keep Burnley up for a number of years with a pretty poor squad. They only got relegated when the board started selling players behind his back.

We can't play front foot high energy football, every time we try it we get thrashed, and this has been the case for the last 5 years at least.

This, all day long! Surely this means at least one of the links to Bielsa / Dyche is off the mark. It isn't at all logical to have such polarising philosophies. Then again this is the Everton recruitment process...

Front foot high energy football?????

Have you been watching our charlatans... Its dib dib dogshoite, pass it back as slowly as possible. The death by a thousand cuts I believe its known as.

And to suggest we have a "philosophy", unless it's drive the paying fans out the ground to the pubs as early as possible, I certainly haven't seen one.

So it's a straight choice between going down in a tail spin of flames into oblivion under Belisa or going down in a defensive long ball of a bore fest... dynamite or a pillow... either way, we will get behind them. See what we end up with.

This is exactly what I was on about in another thread the other day. The whole point of DoF is to sort the playing philosophy and get the players and manager that suit that philosophy. It's quite obvious that with the managers we are getting linked to are such polar opposites that we don't as a club apply the principles of a DoF when choosing manager, as we all suspect moshiri is the one choosing the manager and telling his DoF who he's getting. Absolute madness putting someone in place to do a job and then constantly not letting that person do the job you employed him to do.

Moshiri basically admitted that Thelwell was a gofer by the end of his video.

Started off by saying he overseers recruitment, medical staff, hiring of certain departments and ended it by saying managers don't have time to wipe their own arse anymore which is where our Kev is needed.

Spent the best part of yesterday watching old clips of his Burnley team and came up with a thorough, in depth tactical analysis of what we can expect under Dyche.

Yes, this is a very good point. The flip between totally different styles of football is worrisome and does show the board continue to panic with no vision.
I think Bielsa is their dream football style but unattainable this season (even bielsa knows its bat sh!t crazy) so the board are going for the option that represent where we are in football terms - Sean Dyche.
