It is with the ball. Less so without. A lot higher up.

Nah.

I remember a few but it's beside the point really as you're correct, they've taken some points off us in very convincing ways.

Realistically that means nothing for the current jellyfish squad we have, but hopefully he manages to get more out of them in the same way. Looking at some of the Burnley squads that have beat/drawn against us is proper horror movie stuff also lol
I meant it as a compliment. It's the bare minimum. I want an Everton team who are hard to beat and teams don't want to play. We're not city, so hard work and organisation it is. But already I sense more in a Dyche team than an Allardyce one.

Aye what I meant in the other reply to Danny - Goodison will resonate with that and bounce, it's a style we can identify with, the "going to work" kind of team ("going to work Pistons" if anyone here watched NBA).

Obviously don't just get grocks tho, hope we get some good players that just fit the style rather than recruit based on muscle mass and height lol

Saying you kno what dyche is like as a manager, how many thought he would set up the team the way he has all thought was going be 442. Is fair to not to be sold on him but we need a manager like him at this point to get this club stable again. Maybe he wont be what we need if we ever want to step up like before, but for me now the club needs somebody like we had with moyes. Is going to take time to build us back up and with dyche i think has the mentality and right fit of what we need at this time

I just checked, they finished 2nd this season, 18 points off the Champions, managed by a fella called https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erling_Moe.

GET MOE IN
I watched a bit of their league a while ago - all of those mention manage the biggest teams with the most budget and pull (relative to location and size obviously).

As a 1 to 1 likeness of the situation - it's like hiring the SPL's top manager and expecting great results. It does work like once a blue moon, but it's a shot in the dark as the environment is shockingly and obviously different (fresh example: Slippy).

That's also the reason why all of those managers make a name for themselves in England by going in the Championship or lower and climbing up beforehand. It's much more difficult as a situation to manage in the Prem, let alone jump from being one of the 3 good teams in the league and jumping straight to a struggle in the Prem lol

A manager who was winning stuff with Molde, by the way, was OGS. He was absolutely dreadful at United and only lasted so long because of his name. Great motivator for sure, but in a league of fine margins like the PL you can't just expect to have better players and to just motivate them to a title lol

Big Oil doesnt really like the English, hence him thinking that some crapper from Snowland would do a better than Sean Gravy Dyche.
