And the forwards? Lowest goalscorers in the country?
Yeah, they’re awful. We know they’re awful. But they all are aren’t they? It’s not like he’s left creative options or a proven goal scorer out is it? The team is absolutely dire, there is so little quality there it’s unreal. That’s my entire point, you can argue that Patterson, or coady, or Mina, or simms or whoever should have started and they’re all fair shouts in their own right, but realistically they’re not the sort of quality where you can say there’s definitely a big difference going to be made. People were crying for Iwobi to be more central, to get gray in, to give garner a chance. None of them have made any difference, because it’s like shuffling the deckchairs on the titanic.

Setting up not to lose rather than setting up to win isn't ok at Everton. Hes sending us down without a fight.
Not sure you would find many managers out there that would come into a relegation battle, with a squad like ours at there disposal, and set up any different for an away game than to make the priority not to lose, but hope to nick a win.

When at home that thought plan isn't really acceptable. But what does the man have at his disposal !!!!

Very weird seeing people make getting Burnley promoted as a major achievement like a complete different manager didn't just do it first try.

Like I get it you guys have a major complex but he didn't walk on water. He's being fairly criticized.
Of course criticise but mindless comments like ‘he’s a crap manager’ without any substance is proper gutter tier.

& on VK - yeah he’s done brilliant but the circumstances are very different to the two Dyche promotions.

We had no right going up under Dyche the first time, sold Charlie Austin a day before the season started.

Persisting with a high defensive line in games where it obviously kills us for at least 1 half in the last few games.

4-4-2 with no midfield; goes together with "happening upon a working 4-5-1 and then changing it for no reason". Both hurt our already nonexistant form in a bad way and we've won, what, 1 in the last 10 or so?

Hoofball to a midget.

Playing for draws in games we absolutely can/could/should win.

Absolutely no idea how to set up a team to attack other than "set piece" or "hope someone scores a worldie".

No subs before until there's only 10 min left.

Starting the worst senior players we have because they have "experience" even if they're absolutely horrendous, while leaving younger ones on the bench and never playing them because of lack of experience.

That's what makes him a bit of a crap manager, doesn't it?

But transfers aren’t eeon Dyche we would have been dead meat already under Lampard. As people have said on here he had one hand tied behind his back before he managed the 1st match. He’s got DCL back and Doucoure coming back next game. We’ve got a fighting chance then hes got a pre season and a transfer window to lay his 1st foundations. I think he’ll do ok.

For me Dyche has been making some really really bizarre decisions... by bizarre I mean bad.

If we went down I certainly wouldn`t want a Dyche team defending our way out of the championship, I`d go after a more attacking manager like Postecoglou.
He certainly has gone through a strange 'Decision breakdown' period recently, he finally found a system that was working and then goes and changes it. 🤔

As for Postecoglou tho, if the dreaded thought did happen than there's no chance he would accept the Championship.
Wouldn't be surprised if Leicester have got him lined up already anyway.

There's a reason why he didn't do those things... Because they are terrible ideas.
Exactly, you lose one of your players who is performing as one of your best. And then its as simple as slotting in a gash player to try to perform the exact same role who actually is as much use as a lamppost. I mean this football manager lark, must be a doddle.....
