Of course criticise but mindless comments like ‘he’s a crap manager’ without any substance is proper gutter tier.

& on VK - yeah he’s done brilliant but the circumstances are very different to the two Dyche promotions.

We had no right going up under Dyche the first time, sold Charlie Austin a day before the season started.
Yeah man Charlie Austin

I do think it's important to counter the dismal performance with the fact we got a point away against an in form side, yeah a couple results haven't gone our way either this weekend but we all would have taken a point before the game. It's not pretty but we will need every single one if we are to survive.
Four out of our last 6 games are away and our home games are Newcastle and city. We’re going to have to actually try to win an away game soon, we’re getting to the point where draws aren’t good results.

That really is a huge difference though? The whole reason doucoure was doing well was because he was all action, energetic, using his strength and size and getting beyond the striker to give us an attacking threat. The combination of the 3 physical energetic midfielders together was working. You can’t just stick another midfielder with none of the same attributes in, play him in a different role and say it right just carry on the same way. That really shouldn’t need spelling out to be honest, it’s entry level stuff.
This. The Kane sending off has cost us dear.

On its own a points away to Palace is not a bad result. In the context of Fulham match kin bad result. Reckon we did enough to win the game. Suspension and injuries to an awful squad of players have been damaging and limiting. Over the worst now so something to believe in.

That killed it for me. The club needed at least 1 win out of the home games against fulham and spurs. They were games that by hook or crook 1 point wasnt good enough out of 6.

Said it before we are the worst team in terns of ability in the league. Utterly atrocious to watch. Shameful that we've manifested into this. No identity. No style. No ability. Shameful.

Need to stick at it until the end (including with the manager and players) and hope for some unlikely results - Palace result could have been worse, given their form.

DCL and Doucoure back is helpful at the top end of the pitch.

I'll be at the Newcastle game on Thurs - hoping it will be a proper battle.

Amazing to see Kenwright pop his head up whilst we are in the bottom three, rambling about Frank Lampard - is he a season behind or something ?

I must admit, I haven’t been “happy” with a a manager appointment for a long time (except Ancelotti which almost felt too good to be true and turned out so) but I don’t think we can criticise Dyche too much yet - he hasn’t even had a pre-season with the team - they’re a truly awful group of mis-matched players and im not convinced any manager could come in and get them playing any semblance of football in just a few months mid-season.

I’m not keen on Dyche remaining but it really is the least of our problems at the moment.

Lampard in charge and we would have lost that game easy yesterday. You can only do so much with bang average players and even more so when some of the better ones are injured or suspended.
This. Dyche managed to get decent performances out of this team at first, but Onana, Doucoure and Coleman were all key contributors and have been out the last few. Our squad is weak enough that that makes a big difference.
