Its got to with the fact that there was NO other sensible alternative to Dyche that had a chance of keeping us up. Its wasn't the time to throw in an up and coming manager with a long term stability project. Personallybi would like another moyes type era where we can stabilise and grow - but we are backs to the wall fighting for PL survival. If the dreaded happens maybe the longer term project starts over the summer. I guess that will come down to wheter we get pumped in our last PL games and if we do i expect Dyche will get the boot and get replaced with some guy Mishori had a wet dream over.
Such a bad attitude to have for a club our size, have a word with yourself mate

Im just being realistic as to how its going to play out with the current state of affairs. Its not to say im not abitious and i would have loved money to come into the club in Moyes later years to see if we could kick on. If we hadnt kicked on with money I would then question if he was the right manager. But of course we had no money and he left. Then Money was injected by a mad man with no plan and no stability and here we are. Its of course not what i want, but until we turn around the commercal success and get some stability the pitch performances will follow.
Of course everyone says bad attitude, but what is it exactly you think we should do to turn things around? I mean we have had one of the most highly rated manager in the world 'carlo' with a way better squad we have thrown hundreds of millions at the squad we have hardly been earth shattering. Perhaps its a bad attitude to think we are doing well when we finish 5/6 but it is when you are puncing above your weight. With resources of a man city then yes you question why you are not winning titles but we dont have anywhere near those resources and no plan to start generating them.
We may be a big club but success doesnt happen overnight and isnt based on size of club, it takes having a long term plan, skill, patience and lots of money. 4 things we have none of.

Think he's done well otherwise in a bad situation but the last two home games were shambolic in terms of tactics and the team fell to pieces.

He's going to have to find an away win from somewhere.

Whatever league we're in we need to move on from Dyche for the new stadium. He's not a long term choice for the job, he's not a Moyes from 20 years ago.

if Keane and/or Godfrey start on Monday then I am very quickly going to have doubts over Dyche managing us past the end of this his season.
Keane will start - nailed on.

Godfrey I’m not so sure - I wouldn’t have him near the team after last night,
but I don’t know about Dyche.

It made sense. The likes of Southampton and Leeds hardly made inspired changes and Gary O'Neil was a caretaker left in charge for Bournemouth. Time will tell for Leicester but Dean Smith would have been more underwhelming than Dyche even.

Hodgson had a quick impact for Palace, but so did Dyche, Palace only needed those 2-3 wins to pull clear. Lopetegui done well at Wolves from where they were but still a gamble. West Ham and Forest stuck with their managers which might pay off but the fact there was no obvious replacement a factor.

What might save us is other clubs making even worse appointments. Imagine if we'd appointed Nathan Jones or Gracia.
