He might have been but we would have been in a much better position to come back up. As it stands we will likely go down and then have Dyche filling the squad with middle aged journeyman grocks who, if we do somehow get promoted, will leave us exactly where we are now in our first season back. This appointment was very poorly considered.
Yes I agree and I would have took Bielsa all day over dyche, just think his style would have took to long to implement in a short period. But the football would have been a lot more attacking.

Dyche will be gone, If we go

Christ, Bielsa wanted to manage the under 23’s until the summer and then take over if we stayed up. People are deluded.

You may know more than me regarding villa, but you can’t compare them to utd, they make at least 5x what villa do and villa will be paying some big wages. Digne is on more at villa than Everton.

They lost 50mil on transfers this seaon, broke even the grealish season. Over the last 6yrd we’d have made a lot more than villa, because they’ve had 3 yrs in the championship, and spent more than us. If it so easy for there owners to find ways around P&S why haven’t ours. Doesn’t add up to me, West Ham is another spent loads more than us last 5/6yrs Wolves as well.

In terms of the similar type of buyout, not how much the two make.

None of the teams have overspent consecutively and don't have 90% wage to turnover.

We spent around £300mill net and most of that was in Moshiri's first few seasons. Our wage to turnover was around 95%. So the club was always running at a loss because there's 5% left to run the club.

Under moshiri in 7yrs it’s just over 200mil net
And surely the 3yrs in the championship villa wound have had a high wage to turn over. And one of their season in the championship they spent 80mil and bought in 40mil.

I still find hard to understand why we’re they only club under scrutiny

Depends on his contract, we are in deep financial trouble.

What a disastrous trio of managers we’ve had in Benitez, Lampard and Dyche.

Struggling to think of a worse sequence of appointments at any club ever
Koeman and Silva weren't exactly top banana either. Only Ancelotti has somewhat met expectations and we finished 10th that year!

We were in January and the seaon before, he won’t be on a fortune,
Probably on a bonus for keeping us up, and a clause for going down, seems a small team around him.

I’d be amazed if he’s still here, Like I said he’s not Moshiri’s man, Potential new investors and board, will probably want a fresh start

They gambled in the EFL and got out before they were gonna be slapped. And getting promoted provides £100mill in revenue from TV money etc.

In past 3 years Villas wage to turnover dropped from 97% to 77%.

When you're a functional football team, you don't have players on £100k a week providing zero who you can't get rid off every year
