Simms comes on & score as a substitute v Chelsea ? Not been used since as a substitute?

When I saw Holgate, & Maupay, coming on I stated to my son - It's Mork & Mindy -who contributed zilch to the game .... & to play our leading goalscorer at left back ??????

I know he was dealt a bad hand and is working for a really crap club but his record at Everton is absolutely woeful tbh. Not much better than Lampards record. I don't know why anyone would want him here after this season ends regardless of whether we stay up or not, which we probably won't if Leeds win tomorrow.

Tbf Lampard's record would be 1-2-14

Is there a question that dyche doesnt think michael keane is the answer for. Today i saw a manager bring on a centre back to play right back with a player sat on the bench next to him who has played most of his career at rightback. He then later brings on holgate but only coz he has now put keane up front while there is a centre forward sat on the bench. In the meantime he had a centre midfielder at right back and iwobi was up front. The maupay sub. For ***** sake mate. Simms shouldve been the sub for calvert lewin. Hes scored the same amount of goals this season as maupay and has played about 3 matches in all. Dyche looked out of control of his players and his subs were mental. Bring holgate on for patterson. The team stays the same. Bring simms or play gray up the middle. Again the team is still balanced. I heared him saying about trying different formations and moving players around. It looked a mess and i couldnt say who was playing where at times. The players all tried though and we got a draw in the end.

We have a myriad of problems, of which Sean Dyche is not one of the biggest.

He was let down horrifically by the board in his first month in the job, leaving him with a dreadful squad which has been weakened by injuries and suspensions.
This is up there with worst and least balanced Everton team we've ever seen in every part of the pitch. There's so little quality and it's fundamentally flawed in key areas.
There were moments this season when I didn't think we'd be in with a shout come the final day. That we're still alive is a minor miracle.

IF Dyche keeps us up it will be a job very well done. If we go down, he'll be by no means the man most to blame. I'd forgive the club if they didn't sack him, although I suspect they will.

Pretty bad to be just 1 place above the 2nd worst manager in our history innit. This one is only missing today's draw..View attachment 211295
Three of the worst four performing managers in our history. All from the last two years tells us that the Squad is god awful. Whilst the Squad under Ancelotti is generally the same, we no longer have Digne, Richarlison, James etc. whatever your opinion of them, from time to time they were chance creators. We are just terrible at buying decent footballers

That's exactly it. We can all question the managers' decisions but the real people to blame are the ones who have wasted an absolute fortune and left us with the inept squad that we've got. Pep would struggle to get much out of our lot.

He has been at the club for four months, has a desperately poor squad and no striker for most of his time here.

I am not sure what you expected.
A manager who doesn’t put a centre back as RB, when he’s never played there before, then as a striker, when we have one on the bench, in a game we have to win, a manager who’ll make a proactive change to win a game we’re on top of that’s level at 2-2, a manager who won’t leave our best defender out until the 4th to last game, who wouldn’t use our back up left back when first choice was struggling, then when opportunity arrives has to use two centre backs there because said back up gets injured
