Let’s be honest if Dyche had gone to Southampton or Leeds then a load of the usual suspects on here would be pooing their pants now.

He’ll suit the players we have. We’re not set up for five at the back at all. I know every manager we have goes to it (mainly because of the weakness at right back with Coleman) but a back 4 of Patterson Tarkowski Mina/Coady Mykolenko coached properly is not in my book going to be leaking as many goals as their counterparts at Southampton Leeds Bournemouth

He’ll sort out this unbalanced midfield we have where neither Onana or Gueye know if they’re sitting or pushing up and Iwobi is appearing a left wing back, number 10 and wide right all in the same game. It will be a stable midfield with defined roles and he’s got players with pace power and height in there.

He needs more upfront no doubt about it.

He’s got good height through the team for set pieces and a good keeper.

The ingredients are there for a competent manager to keep us up IF we back him with the required forward players in the next few days.
Spot on mate.

I know you know what I think about Patterson. He's got to grow up in the coming months for me. Makes way too many unthinking moves and cant get back into position. If he brought in a solid RB I'd be delighted.

But the ingredients are there to work with. I bet Dyche cant believe the relative riches he has to work with. As all pundits correctly state: we're not great, but we should be nowhere near the bottom of the table. Dyche can prove that. I'd like a target man in ASAP now.

The togger will be no different than when Ancelotti was here, think people are forgetting outside of those 4 wins in 4 we had at the start of that season that the footy on show was SHABITE.

Popped out for an hour .. hoping announcement of Bielsa .. come in and looking like Sean kin Dyce is the one.. more [Poor language removed] footy to look forward to… The thought of looking down and seeing yet another manager who shouldn’t be anywhere near Everton.. I’ll naturally get behind him but boy how I literally hate going to watch us these days

We will play high percentage canrage % pomo football mate, crosses, counters etc - this season anyway.

He has a net spend of about 5 million in 5 PL season with Burnely via a European campaign he qualified for, thats impressive.

Had a look at some of the players he signed, Defour, Cornet, Pope, JT, Nathan Collins - all of whom walk into out team and made 100 + million for Burnley - we need a bit of this.
I'm amazed Dyche hasn't been approached by now. Maybe he has been and was waiting Lampard out?
