Why are we defending Lampard who is a hopeless manager. I only hope he manages not to lose to Forest.
Lampard had far easier fixtures to Dyche. If we go down its mainly because the Board did not sack Lampard when they should have sacked him. I cannot understand how people defend Lampard when its obvious he is a failure and then try to ridicule Dyche who has given us a fighting chance of staying up

No one is “defending Lampard”, you won’t find anyone saying he didn’t deserve to be sacked. People however are defending Dyche when he’s barely performing any better and is making tactical decisions that are costing us points on a weekly basis. Fair’s fair, can’t have different rules for different managers just because you didn’t like his predecessor.

Brighton, Spent a lot of money!!! Really Sean!

Well they have spent like over 50 mil, which for Brighton especially is a lot.

Though it's obviously offset by them selling players at a massive profit, of course.

It's a similar thing with Liverpool. Their "net" spend might be good because they can offset it with Coutinho-like sales, but don't let anyone tell you they don't spend serious money on players.

Didn’t we spend nearly £100m last summer? They’ve spent a good deal less than we have on their squad so I’m not sure what he’s getting at here.

First 14 games of the season under Lampard. 14 points.
First 14 games for Dyche. 14 points.

And with his 1 win in 11, he is on a very similar trajectory to Lampard.
hmmm starting to think it might be something deeper than the manager hmmmmm does that render all of the bickering on this thread inconsequential hmmmmmmm

Just spent £30m on Joao Pedro, it's their biggest fee ever, also a lot of talk down here about them being in for Alex Scott at Bristol City who will cost £20m, so yeah they spend money. They will sell on though and it looks like Mac Allister will leave, possibly even to the RS but they want £60m for him.
