…yep, certainly got it wrong today when he’s got lots right this season.
True.
I'm really hoping that Doucoure makes a difference but I can't really understand why he didn't put an attacking player in his place, like Danjuma or even try McNeill.
He seems to hit on a formula and when that doesn't work or isn't available, he's stumped.
He also has the mentality of setting up on the back foot which bothers me.
I think he's a great motivator and was the perfect man to have in charge when the PL hit us, just wonder if that mentality is wearing off a bit now.

I agree, he has definitely got the best out of doucoure. The squad lacks depth and quality. Either needs to be addressed smartly in January with loans or freebies or dyche needs to come up with something. Ideally both situations happen.

So why does he not give the younger players a shot ?

On dyche this today. All the old failings there today. Picking keane is always bad but not playing tarkowski at the centre of the 3 centrebacks was mental. Keane gets subbed after getting skinned for the 2nd and leaving his man for the 3rd. Subs too late and robotic.

Ran the players into the ground with a lack of rotation. No subs until the 85th minute it at all for the majority of games. And before anyone says it, there have been options to put on.

Players look knackered which goes against our main strength of being a workman like team. Once the work rate drops, we have nothing else.

We have to hope we can get a couple in on loan. Second half of the season is going to be a real slog.

….tbf, Dyche has got results without Onana & Garner, without DCL and Branthwaite. Doucoure is a huge loss because he has that unique ability to get alongside and beyond DCL whilst getting behind the ball when the opposition has possession. He’s like having two players in one.

Playing 5 at the back simply invited Wolves onto us, it was a tactical error.

After the last 3 games Dyche stats are heading back to the brink of Benitez and Lampard levels of crap, lucky for him he had 4 good wins which keeps him above them 2....

Dyche may or may not be the man for now but he isn`t the man to take this team forward if we want to be top half. You can`t be succesul if you are going to crap your pants going to Wolves that you put a back 5 in!

Rubbish manager.

I think he was probably the best option at the time given that he was available, our awful running of the club that has put us in this mess and he was seen as a “avoid the drop “ kind of guy.

Before any future manager appointments the club itself needs changing because this crap has gone on so long.

It may not bother the people at the club earning a decent living “why won’t the club speak out” there’s little incentive to aspire to success when they are already doing well for themselves financially and we already have growing generations of fans not exactly too bothered about success. Vicious circle. Needs breaking before any future manager.

I don’t blame the players. It is impossible to assert pressure from the front or control the midfield by sacrificing one midfielder and field an addition useless centerback.

We can’t press well from the front because of that.

And it force us to push our wingback up and tried to win the ball higher up the pitch and also contribute in our attacking phase.

Which lead to massive gaps at the flanks and you cannot expect Keane to do well trying to cover that area, he is never capable of that his entire career.

For majority of the game, the tactics simply resembles playing with 10men. Extremely stretch and players had more work to do in every part of the pitch.

Dyche disaster.
