He’s now Scrooge but he earned the right to steal Christmas.
At fault today, just like the majority of the squad who underperformed and were nowhere near the level achieved in previous games. I see far more from this team and manager that I like rather than despair and I think he’s been very good, especially in getting more from the team than last season and looking a very good attacking threat (without the finish mostly which is infuriating and would be a mad stretch to lay at the manager‘s feet).
Be better? Absolutely and he already knows this so chill ye boots.

Gentle reminder that its also not his fault we sit 17th, we should be sitting pretty in 12th cursing ourselves for throwing away a European push, not looking over our shoulder at little no mark teams.

Everton arent we?
its his fault for forcing Micheal Keane into our starting 11 though

Keane plays ok then he plays badly (This is the word I’m using I understand others won’t agree). Occasionally he scores. He makes brainfarts.
Basically, the equivalent of every other option available in the squad except raw youngsters who don’t play in his position or players who just don’t score. Is he being “forced” into our starting 11?. Godfrey played well when he came in a few games ago but has had horror shows in the past. Dyche said he was wrong with the shape didn’t he? I agree with him, as do you.

Not in some of our fans eyes, he’s the man for next few years, great manager, one of the best in the premier league I got told on here this morning. And when he gets some money he will change his style
PAHAHAHA! Change his style - that's a good one! The man had about a decade at Burnley never once changed from his 442 hoofball. Been here a year almost and it's virtually the same approach and same line-up every week. Sometimes it gets wins, sometimes it has us being taught a footballing lesson.

He's never changing his style no matter how much money he can spend. It's just the way he is, has been and will be. Give him City or Newcastle wealth and he'd still turn Barca into Burnley. We hired a guy with a 28% Prem win ratio, the last of the "dinosaur gang", but he is currently delivering on what he has been tasked with doing, pretty or not.

Keane and godfrey played ok at burnley. Who have picked up 3 points from 30 at home. I dont think anyone was genuinely fooled into thinking they are both ready to come into tougher games. Nothing more than hope than any confidence they were/are.

Keane played 45 minutes between the end of August and the Burnley game on 16th December and that was in the game at Anfield when we went down to 10 men. He’s hardly played and when Doucoure is back, he’ll probably hardly get any game time again unless there are more injuries.
Thats the hope... we just need to get rid, our CB options outside of Tarks and Branthwaite are dreadful.

So if the manager thinks he wants to play that system again those 2cbs are the only choices of a threadbare squad. One very quick but poor in the air, the other tall, slow and good enough in the air. Both absolutely have a shocker in them. Wolves have some tall players, maybe he could have played Godfrey instead but settled to play a 5 and admitted he got it wrong.
4 at the back is what Dyche should of gone with in hindsight, I think and hope he is aware of that now. Our squad options don’t cover enough ways of playing, he’s hamstrung to a large extent.
