My guess is that if you look back through his history everything is negative… even when we are playing well.
Well it’s not, but look away. I was happy to give Lampard a chance, because he was a young manager, who wanted to play the right way and you would like to think attract top players. Like Gerrard both are miles off At the moment.

Didn’t want Rafael or big Sam, but who did. I didn’t want Koeman, take away the Southampton job and his record was poor. Silva I was happy with, because again he fits the modern young manager, young managers will always have ups and downs.
Dyche you know exactly what we’re getting from day 1 and it will be the same on day 501. Sorry if I’m not over the moon with his appointment

One last thing to add - just because you're pleased with the progress under Dyche - and it is undeniable progress from the last 2/3 years - doesn't mean you think he's incredible and want him to be here for 10 years.

But imo anyway he is absolutely the right person for the here and now. He has issues he needs to address but given the circumstances he's working in, I can't see how anyone can conclude he's doing anything less than a decent job.

If we lose our next 7 games then yes, I'll happily revisit that view, but that seems highly unlikely. That's what you're supposed to do - make a judgement on the results and performances. We've had 3 very tough games with limited options, 2 of which we played well in for large parts. Yesterday was rubbish but those performances have been very rare.

Doesn't mean the world is falling apart. Let's see how we do with a bit more rest in January.

He takes an age to address anything, kept picking Keane last season and holgate /Godfrey at RB. While Patterson and Mina sat on the bench. He changed when the fans had started to turn and we falling like a stone

This is exactly the problem. It'd okay for the "here and now" or he's better than the previous two absolute abominations. We need to sack now before it becomes a herculean rescue job. Money is tight so wasting cash on Dyches signings is another disaster waiting to happen.

That's not my job. But there's nothing on Dyche's cv that merits this job. Nothing. We need to identify a winner and someone that has potential. Dyche was sacked by Burnley ffs and then on the scrapheap for over a year.
Theres only one man who fits your description of a winner with potential, isn’t there mate - get Neil Lennon in now!

The circumstances are the circumstances but ultimately he should be judged as a manager who has got us 26 points from 19 games, which should put us comfortably midtable and within reach of Chelsea, Brighton, Man U etc. The deduction isn't his fault and he can't be judged on it. You swallow a 0-3 loss to Wolves if we're 10th in the league.

You should never swallow a defeat like that to wolves when if could have been 6.

My point is in all his years as a player and as a manager he's done nothing to indicate he can do a real job for us.
