You should never swallow a defeat like that to wolves when if could have been 6.

My point is in all his years as a player and as a manager he's done nothing to indicate he can do a real job for us.
Point is, there wouldn't be people in here calling for his head. Everyone - even the very best teams - have days where it goes to pot. Especially at this time of year with fixtures coming thick and fast. It was a woeful result and even worse performance but let's put it into context. His gameplan is spot on 99% of the time.

99% 🤣🤣🤣 we’d be top of the league

I disagree. I think his gameplan is a million miles off spot on. He's better than Lampard and the Spanish waiter.

Alex Ferguson was one game away from getting the sack at man United all those years ago… he’d come into a club in a far better state than ours is now but struggled badly for a season until that Lee Martin goal saved his job … the rest as they say is history. Now I’m not for one moment suggesting Dyche is anywhere near the same level as fergie and I have no expectations of us even winning a tenth of what that United team went on to achieve under Ferguson… but a bit of context needs to be applied, Dyche has been here a very short time, took over a very poor and dejected squad, had very little money to operate and get players in and has to deal with all the other crap that’s going on at the club… for what it’s worth I think he’s doing more than any of us expected of him when he came in so I’m willing to stick by him and give him some time.

So you think Dyche is as good as Alex Ferguson?

I get the sentiment but I'd argue we were artificially bad under Lampard and Benitez. The squad based on any other matric should be mid table. All Dyche us doing is getting us back to that (at best). Lampard was a terrible manager and under Benitez it was toxic.

I am still furious when Man Utd beat us at Goodison 6-2 under Gordon Lee, Kendall lost 5-0 to Liverpool, Kendall lost 6-2 away to Villa, Moyes lost 7-0 away to Arsenal, 6-2 to Newcastle, 5-1 at home to D Bucherest, 4-0 home to Bolton, and many more.

They happen so depends on the reaction of manager and players

What are you on about? He can get the gameplan right and still drop points. We do it regularly because the quality of the players stinks compared to at least half the league. Without the deduction, we're behind everybody who I'd regard as having a better XI / squad than us so we're right on par.
Again if the game plan was 99% spot on how come we never come back form a goal down. Give up while you’re behind 🤣
