Yesterday was rubbish by him.
But realistically he has come in from day one and asked to do a job with his hands tied behind his back,
Can't compete in the tranfer market and inherited a team that had stayed up be the skin of its Death two seasons on the run.
Those the top of are club passed and present are far more to blame for were we are as a club at present.
It will take at least a decade to undo the legacy of that lot.

In some quarters yes, but there's some dubious characters who would have shifted the goalposts and offered it as proof that he can't take us beyond mid-table.

Actually, thinking about it, that's basically the argument some of them are trotting out regardless.
Mid-table for me would be a massive improvement. Things arent going to change overnight. We have been run poorly for too long for that to happen.

Same results again from this 18 as the first time we played them all and even without getting our 10 points back we’ll probably be 12th-14th with no ‘last few games worries’ which I think most would’ve taken going into this season.

The crazy thing is, Dyche could achieve this, almost miraculously, be given no money to spend and then have people calling for his head because we lose to a few top half teams early next season. People just don’t like him and it seems weird to me given the enormous improvements he’s brought.

No money, we have spent 25mil on a back up forward 2 wingers on loan worth 40mil. Our front 3 have scored 7 goals, and more than half our goals have come from set pieces. The worry is teams tighten up defensively against us and nullify our strengths.

I don`t understand how some folks can be so critical of Dyche already. The mess we were in when he arrived it was a great achievement to keep us up last season, with basically the same players that super Frankie Lampard was getting us relegated with. Dyche has gotten a bit more from a couple of players he inherited, has brought a few new in over the summer, some doing good, some not so good so far. The one thing I really like about him, and the thing that should make people give him a bit of time before they should be thinking he should be replaced, is the way that he was appeared to really want to take the managers job because he saw it as a club that he could achieve great things with and at least show his critics that what he did at Burnley was not the limit to what he can do in management. Makes a change from people chasing a big pay day regardless of the mess they leave in their wake.
