Just a really bad day.

Absolutely. Never ceases to amaze me how some people just can't take it on the chin and move on. It happens. Especially when you're not one of the better teams in the division.

If it starts happening every week, then it becomes a concern, but until then you have to back the manager. Quite why other people are trying to convince Everton fans that he's not good enough now, is beyond me.

Do they actually think we should sack him right now? Or are they just salivating at the prospect of pressure ramping up, and Everton sacking yet another manager? I know what my money is on.

I don't think he should be sacked however I do think he needs to take a long hard look at that yesterday and take the blame. If he come out and said that he got it totally wrong I think fans would be accepting of it just for the honesty more than anything else

Ano. I think a lot of its to do with the 10 points deduction hanging over us. If that hadnt happened we would be mid table and while a 3-0 defeat would still be hard to take the manager and players would get more leeway.

In some quarters yes, but there's some dubious characters who would have shifted the goalposts and offered it as proof that he can't take us beyond mid-table.

Actually, thinking about it, that's basically the argument some of them are trotting out regardless.

That's not my job. But there's nothing on Dyche's cv that merits this job. Nothing. We need to identify a winner and someone that has potential. Dyche was sacked by Burnley ffs and then on the scrapheap for over a year.
Yawn 🥱
We live in an era where people tell us to change but not how to change.
If this was anpolitics board id have you marked at as a Russian bot.

What are you on about? He can get the gameplan right and still drop points. We do it regularly because the quality of the players stinks compared to at least half the league. Without the deduction, we're behind everybody who I'd regard as having a better XI / squad than us so we're right on par.
Honestly mate, don’t waste your breath. I reckon they are a pair of RS on the wind up. That or an iq problem

Don’t be a bell all your life it’s called an opinion, went to my first game February 79 v Ipswich, lost 1-0 and Mick Lyon’s missed a penalty. A very good Ipswich team at that time.

Maybe arsenal and Luton at home too but with a bit of a bigger squad games like yesterday become fewer and far between you can see what he is trying to achieve so I'm with you he's going nowhere soon
Oh mate Luton home was the only game I’ve managed to get to this season so I blanked it from my memory 🤣

Yes you’re right 16/20 very decent performances in the league which is a huge improvement with this group of players who even looked crap when we won games the last two seasons

Agree to disagree then. I appreciate they are best in class but games against the better teams in the league are a joke. Wolves is the tip of the iceberg. Forget the last two seasons that was Lampard and Benitez.
I know what you’re saying but we can’t forget the last two seasons immediately

The fact is Dyche took possibly our worst ever back to back league performances and turned us into mid table points team who fight and put in more decent performances than not

Long term, the last two seasons are absolutely not the benchmark, this is Everton, but I’m impressed with the short term progress of me going from hate-watching every game to actually enjoying some wins!

Yesterday was rubbish by him.
But realistically he has come in from day one and asked to do a job with his hands tied behind his back,
Can't compete in the tranfer market and inherited a team that had stayed up be the skin of its teeth two seasons on the run.
Those at the top of are club passed and present are far more to blame for were we are as a club at present.
It will take at least a decade to undo the legacy of that lot.
