I understand that, I don't understand why this rule applies only to us and not to the SkY SiX who have been doing stuff like that for years. Fair punishment and all that

Why is a points deduction for this group of players and manager fair for something that they had no control over whatsoever?

Points deductions for financial technicalities aren’t fair full stop. I don’t want 12 or 13 teams getting points deductions in a season.

Yeah that too but if we're getting them for no reason why are other teams not then, are the rules different?

Shouldn't we also be getting a slap on the wrist and a 1 year notice that we won't do transfers for 1 summer so we can prepare, a-la Chelsea instead?

What relevance is your reply to my post?
Because you said if we took more of our chances we’d be higher up the league 🤣 well in Einstein. There will never a be a season when DCL, Harrison, McNeil get 30 goals. Not this year or next year, teams at the bottom usually have the worst forwards.

Well, no. I wrote and consistently write that we need better players in the advanced positions.

That is clearly the difference between us winning games and losing them. The chances are being missed and that means the solution is to upgrade

Thats not on the manager.

When we have 2 fullbacks in the team but they play so narrow they play like CB and when we play with 2 wingers who end up playing more like wing backs to cover for it meaning we are often exposed in the wide areas it very much IS down to the manager and his tactics Zat. Don't even get me started on how wasted Dom is in this system or how much better Onana/Garner would be if we actually let them on the ball every now and again.
Also Sean Dyche gets paid £3m a year to find solutions (as you put it) with the squad he has. Why isn't he spending more time drilling all the attacking players through moves/shape in the final third to try and encourage more chances? This is the sort of thing the top coaches would be doing, not looking to buy their way out of trouble.
