Yesterdays result wasnt great, but honestly, im not that bothered that we are out of a cup we probably wouldnt have won.

I think hes been unlucky with injuries and LOADS of players bang out of form, yes, its the managers job to find their form, but meh.

Another tough away game on Tuesday then 2 very tough games, I said a few weeks ago, Palace was the next game I expect us to win, so if he gets anything before that I will be happy, but if we fail to beat a dogmuck Palace at home then I shall be less than happy.

I clearly need to start calling him a really crap manager tho, that seemed to work last time.

The fact people are upset/sad/scared about leaving Goodison blows my mind. I can’t wait to get away from there. Horrible vibe about the place.
That feeling isn’t to do with most of the footy I’ve seen at Goodison mate. I will miss her, even though most of on field memories aren’t great. I’m hoping that changes at the new place and we get many many more good memories from on the pitch.

I’m sad to leave her because it’s memories of spending time with my grandad at Goodison and enjoying the few wins and the other few enjoyable moments we have had.

He wouldn’t want me to be sad but I will be.

I agree though, there has been a cloud over the grand old lady for a good number of seasons now, mostly to do with our owner, ex chairman and ex directors and the absolute crapshow that they have turned us into.

I've never heard another Everton fan say this. Ever. Goodison is our home. Our heritage. Our memories.

Yes the atmosphere now is terrible but that's because of the dross on the pitch. Would be same in a shiny new bowl in Kirkby.

Is it that you've never really been to Goodison? Seriously do you now have any cherished memories of the place? What about your first game even?

I agree with him tbh.

I think the older generation love goodison alot more than the younger for obvious reasons, I've had a ST for about 20 years since I was a kid and it's been mostly horrible just a really bad team with a few good years, I can't wait to leave the place myself.

Am genuinely stunned. For me Goodison is literally all we have at the moment to hold on as a physical manifestation of our once glorious club.

My first game was a 3-1 win v Chelsea in 1998. Gary Speed scored. I was also at the Coventry game with my dad and went on the pitch at the end, I was only 6 years old at the time.

I held a season ticket with my dad during 2001/02 and 2002/03 in the upper Gwladys and was a member of the Junior Blue scheme if you remember that.

Despite not having a season ticket we used to go fairly regularly between 2004-2010, then I got my first adult season ticket with my mate where we sat in the top balcony. I held that from 2011-2019 when I eventually handed back as I’d simply stopped enjoying going the game. During the period I held that season ticket I went to around 3-4 away games per season including Lille and Atalanta in the Europa League.

I’m sure nobody asked for an extensive history of my life growing up and attending Goodison but seeing as you were so confident I’d never been in my life I thought I’d just give you a brief overview, thanks Charles x

Tbh a few of my mates have the same opinion as well, think for the "younger" generation who've only ever really seen us being a crap team goodison doesn't hold any boss memories for us?

Some great odd games over the years, but never seen everton be great there

Was that the game Mikel Madar scored as well? I think I was in the Lower Bullens for that game, might have been my first game as well but I'm not sure 100%

Sort it out Dyche, come on.

I would be of this opinion if I thought moving grounds would make things better. Unfortunately I can see it being even worse.

keep at it goat!

i agree with the first part, its the fans who pay the money and get served that which isn’t fair

RE the palace game we could be miles behind going into that.

im genuinely worried its all coming down on us off and on the field.

if we drop in that bottom 3 im pretty concerned we won’t come back out of it

Don’t get that at all mon rouge.

I’m sad to leave Goodison, but it shows how far we’ve fallen mate - I don’t want to hold on to that, even though I will miss the place.

I’m holding onto BMD and the potential better future for our club there, if we can survive the next couple of years.

Whatever is happening now, or has happened over the last few years of idiocy and financial mismanagement, the one person who is NOT to be blamed is Dyche.
Whether you like him or not or whether you want him long term or not isn't the issue, the question or the focus of blame.
Dyche has done a good job so far given the absolute parlous circumstances surrounding him.
He is NOT the problem any halfwits chucking abuse in his direction need to give their heads a shake.
Needs must as the Devil drives and he's the best we have and the best we could get if we didn't have him.
I'm not a great fan, but he's done a better job that the last two.
You want to vent and shout and blame? Don't direct it at Dyche, none of this mess is down to him.
