Burnley's entire net spend under Dyche was about £30mill. The goal of the club was to stay in the premier league under less means than every other club in it. Look at Burnley now having spent £100mill to play football "the right way". Another example are Brighton had to spend £100+mill to survive in the league playing football the right way.
You cannot label a manager to say "he won't change" when he's never had the tools to attempt change. All he's ever had is finding a way to stay in the premier league with limited resources. And for the most part ..it's worked.
