Yes had a disaster season according to you.How the hell did he get in the England squad
Anything to make dyche like some top class coach

When have I said he had a disaster season? He’s had a brilliant season. You actually did say though ‘Had Branthwaite made a few mistakes he would have been taken out after a few games, but he didn’t’ - I’m just pointing out that he did make a few mistakes, and Dyche didn’t drop him, therefore your criticism is incorrect.

Not those mistakes, the mistakes he didn't make. Dyche definitely would have dropped him for them. Definitely.
I’m sure there was a stat and I’m not big into stats so won’t know where to find them, but I’m sure it was said on TV, about halfway through the seasons, Branthwaite hadn’t made one mistake that led to a goal

You're typing like you've just been on nights for two weeks, mate.

Console yourself with the fact that whilst Dyche is here for now, and maybe for the medium term, when we do rubbish again, or get wealthy owners he'll be gone. Then you come on and say "I TOLD YOU SO" dead loud, in caps with loads of smileys and all that. You'll be the real winner!

The level of dislike towards Dyche, post after post after post....

It's like a full time job to some.
Works both ways, when we were on that horrendous run, the worst in 67yrs , the likes of you were telling us it was because of what’s going on behind the scenes, the players are crap, relegation fodder. I got told that they were championship players and we had one of the 3 worse squads in the league. Think most of us thought that dyche should be doing better with this group, it seems that he’s only judged by Lampard

  • Their defensive xG (expected goals) per game was the second worst (1.73) behind only relegated Leeds last season, but this season only four sides boast a better average than the Toffees (1.41).

Clearly then, Dyche evidently knows how the get a team to defend. Coady/Tarkowski had us sat 19th. Coady, was, I'm afraid - awful and never suited in a defence that wasn't a back 3 - the reason Wolves let him go out on loan.

If you want to continue to whine "yeah well, he should have dropped Keane for Mina" - then fair enough. Mina is the better defender, but % football in a relegation scrap and I'll say we needed stability - as you've acknowledged - and Yerry Mina has averaged 13 appearances per season, since his time at Barcelona.

It's remarkable the lengths some go to try an stick one in on Dyche.

I make no apology for repeating myself because some are fickle/ignorant.

A reminder that Dyche come in here;

With Arsenal x2, Liverpool A within the first 5 games.

Without a striker.

We all thought we were down.

If we were told he's keep us up, then not spend a bean and reducing wages, then given a 10 point deduction for 4 months of the season the following season - we'd have all snapped your hands off.

He's improved us on our last 2 seasons - we finish closer to Europe than relegation -22 points away from relegation - without spending, and reducing our wages;

"but, but, but - he played Michael Keane for a bit"
I’m not saying he hasn’t improved us, he definitely has this season to last.

I wasn’t trying to “stick one in”.

The point I made at the beginning was, him allowing Keane to have multiple howlers last season, despite having other options, and not using them until it virtually became untenable, has likely led to people questioning why he was selecting Keane at the start of the season. That’s a valid viewpoint based off the evidence, even if it was actually because branthwaite wasn’t fit.

I’m quite perplexed how people are saying he doesn’t have favourites, and only changed players when pushed, as regardless of all this injury talk, that’s what he does and did do, with Branthwaite, Myko, Keane, Young, Patterson and others.

I can also see the excellent job he’s done to get us safe in the unbelievably difficult circumstances and including the points deductions. Could another manager have done as well or better, perhaps, but I very much doubt it.

He deserves our support and a chance to go again - I just hope we can get our act together off the field ( moshiri/owndership/no Further deductions) and he can be a bit more tactically proactive on the field, and give younger players more of a chance.

The set up, players and system deployed against Sheff United in a dead rubber was disappointing for me.

He sets up the same at home to Burnley and Sheffield Utd or Man City. He has one plan and ain’t changing, though some on here think will. No wins if we concede first and he’s never won a game at goodison if the opposition score, which is a mental stat

Do you think I can be arsed with that, I’ve been on nights for 6 weeks. I have no doubt you were making constant excuses for the bad run like the rest of them

I called that didn't I? Mate, you hate him as our manager, we get it. I'm not a massive fan either, loads here aren't. Many of us are just pragmatic as to our current situation.

Seriously though, making stuff up about what fellas supposedly said, just to justify your own ramblings, is making you come across incoherent at times. If it's the sleep deprivation fair enough, but just read the words in front of you and comment on them rather than what you think someone said..

Big problem for me like, and the stats show it.

He Had the perfect chance to try new things and some of the younger lads and didn’t bother.

Warrington only getting a few mins at the death baffled me tbh.
