The better work he did last years seems to have been lost somewhere

Yeah but last season wasn't exactly his fault was it?
He came in with the objective to save the club from relegation and he did it.
This season, a full one under Dyche will be different, despite an indifferent start.
Am I the only one who feels upbeat after today's match? City won there 2-1 and, but for a very unlucky rebound, so would we have. Sheffield United are no pushovers. Let's see how Arsenal handle Beto and a fired up Goodison after the International break.Actually 4 games in. Lost 3 of them. 1 point from Wolves at home, Fulham at home and Sheff Utd away.
We are very bad and in deep trouble.
I don't think we're in a position to be picky or choosy, the playing squad has been crap for years. It's tiny steps for us where progress is concerned. We need to be pragmatic and not bottle it imo. Obviously if we continue to lose, and daylight appears between us and 4th bottom, then his position may well become untenable.Yes, but he didn't save us, coming in and changing the clubs fortunes I'd agree he saved us, but we were just as bad under him as we were previously.
He's a horrid manager and we look as bad now as we have at any time in recent seasons
No, we're not in a serious relegation battle. It's only four games for Christ's sake. Were only three points behind Chelsea! Were we, or were we not, in a serious relegation battle last season under Sean Dyche? (who got a whole half a season)
Are we, or are we not, already in a serious relegation battle under Sean Dyche?

True enough, but we'll be looking behind us all season until we're mathematically safe. We're 4th favourite to go down or thereabouts, and whilst it's only the start of the season, we've had a really crappy start results wise. No, we're not in a serious relegation battle. It's only four games for Christ's sake. Were only three points behind Chelsea!
We need more composure. Everything is so frantic I think and the ball comes straight back at us a lot. We can create the odd chance hopefully between Beto, Danjuma and maybe DCL we can get the goals we need to stay up. No sense making a panic change this early but if he doesn’t start winning soon he’ll be out. Just don’t know where we go after that. Potter would be a total change style wise and that’s kind of part of the problem. We veer from one style of manager to another and the players are all at sea.Dyche mentioned fine margins in three of the games this year which if gone the right way could have us in a much better position. To a degree he is correct. Style of play is not good but we have been on a downward spiral for ages and have little or no resources. Not sure yet another manager charge will make any difference. At least we have potential goals in the team now. I say stick with it for the time being
Who the hell are Chelsea? No, we're not in a serious relegation battle. It's only four games for Christ's sake. Were only three points behind Chelsea!
In that sense, they are kind of like our wealthier big brother lolWho the hell are Chelsea?
The finished 10th? last season and have 1 of the worst teams in the league despite spending a billion.
Not a favourite to go down in my book. No lower than 15th. Vault me.You say “only” 3 points like we’ll just rock up and pick up 3 points when we want. We are in a relegation battle and one of the favourites to go down. Deal with it.
