I think the manager should spent every available moment practicing passing out from the back and beating the press. Practice that until the keeper, defence and midfield are comfortable and composed at retaining possession and moving it up the pitch. If it takes weeks / months then so be it.

The worrying question is, if we've got this supposed sale of the club going through, whatever has been agreed between the 2 shady smug gits, can we sack Dyche without 777 Approval. As he came with the sale, and they would surely want the input on future manager..

I know this sale possibly wont even go through, but there will have still been agreements between the party's...
or would we be stuck looking for a short term deal for a manager until the sale is ( possibly ) finalised..
I mean I can't see that being a very appealing position for a new manager..

He's totally outdated I know we played Arsenal today but the absolutely dross tactics were appalling today. If you are playing direct you need runners we just lamped it forward to Beto over and over giving it back to Arsenal. I can't see him lasting

Its incredible to me that some are giving the excuse that the team is poor.

The players arent poor players. The manager is using tactics written on the back of a cig packet and he seems to be picking players at random...not on form or ability.

He should have been sacked before today, now weve had the "expected loss" he should be binned off quickly.

I think it'll take 1-1.5 months, it would be ideal if it was somewhere between like significant period of football. A break kind-off... something before this season starts to prepare for this season... hmm... A pre-something.... Well yeah, they definitely need to work on the training pitch.

Ok realistically is there an alternative that is out there that could do more with this team.

Obviously we are running out of time and a change could come but..

Pickford Viginia Lonergan Crelin
Young Godfrey Tark Branthwaite Keane Mylo Patterson Coleman (eventually)
Gana Ganer Onana McNeil Danjuma Doucoure Harrison Onyango Dobbin Alli (?) Gomes (?)
Beto DCL Chermiti

Who is a person who has a style that could compliment this squad. Is Dyche selling this squad short? Does the gameplan suit them?

Three positives for me yesterday were:

1: He played Mykolenko at LB over Young.

2: Kept with Branthwaite/Tarkowski instead of playing his son.

3: Used Onana a little deeper

The negatives

1: Played Young over Patterson so he could shoehorn is pal in the team + the same Young who cant take a free kick (or do much else).

2: Onana was not used as an anchor again Was bypassed when we had the ball and even the midfield was setup without there being anyone to link with. A proper anti-Dyche player in a Dyche team.

3: Dropped Garner for his other son who wasnt fully fit. Could have used him next to Onana but that may mean we play the ball through midfield...cant have that.

The most obvious things are those hes not able to see in front of his nose...set pieces and...everything is dreadful.

Sack.

Preseason...international break two chances there.

In hindsight should have given him a deal to keep us up.then got a new chap in summer.
