Here we go. Degrading an Everton win zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Brentford, by their own admission, were crap.

Brentford captain Christian Norgaard said: "We've been quite happy with our performances this season. This is by far our worst. It's hard to explain. We struggled to get to grips with the basics.

"Communication, organisation, those sort of things. We should be able to fix this quite easily. It's about taking responsibility. It's a team thing. You have to demand more from yourself. We failed to do the basics today."

Props to Dyche today. Team selection, substitutions and in game tweaks, got all the calls right.

Myko on the left and Young on the right, much better balance.

The Beto sub was a big call but with the possession we had in the second half, having the pace of Dom behind to stretch the pitch was needed and gave midfield the time on the ball in the latter stages of the game when we needed it.

Especially impressed with the decision to give McNeill a free role in the second half, coming central and deep to get on the ball. Gave us the numerical superiority to control the ball, keep the home fans quiet, take the sting out of the game.

Results have made me question the methods up to this point, but actually this year we're taking a lot of shots on goal. Few more wins and maybe I'll come round to the worm-eater

Thought he started us off too negative, but fair Fuchs, he made some decent changes and we played well.

Need a lot more from dyche and the players from now on - today was the minimum we need.
