IT WAS PERFECT, BUT NO. YOU HAD TO BLOW IT ALL UP.

Seriously, moving Garner and Onana off put us under a load of pressure. The one thing he shouldn't have rotated.

I’ve been very critical so far this season after not being particularly impressed by him last season and being on the fence about keeping him on at the end of the season.

But last game and now this game, he has got it right and got back to back performances from the team. Still a long way to go but he has done a good job this last 2 games and hopefully it’s a sign of things to come.
Not impressed last season? We had 15 points on February 1st and we looked dead and buried. How the fook we stayed up without a fit forward is beyond me...

Perfect performance.

-Rotated well and won with a new formation away from home against a good side. 3 at the back is viable?

-Tested the Garner/Onana partnership (was fantastic and should be the pairing going forward with Harrison healthy)

-Integrated Harrison well and got him up to speed instantly

-DCL looked as graceful as he ever looked and pressed well. Lovely finish

-Whole team pressed well

-Only gave away a complete fluke of a goal and got to see our team under pressure (they didn’t crack).

-Was creative with Keane allowing him to join in the attack on the right quite a bit. Didn’t just stick him in the backline and call it a day

-Gave support for Patterson and Myko to get down the field.

Very very good. One of our most important games I feel because we got a lot of information out of it.

Brentford unbeaten in their last 18 at home, Villa unbeaten in their last 10. Fantastic results on the bounce, good chance for 2 more wins in the next 2 games as well. Dyche most likely won't ever have us challenging for Europe but these are the types of results he can get when he has some sort of fit squad available to him, especially a focal point for a striker. Long may this type of football continue.

If Dyche gets us to midtable or at least comfortably safe from relegation weeks / months in advance then he and Thelwell deserve massive praise for what they've done in such an insane club with Moshiri and Kenwright ruining things.
