2023/24 Sean Dyche

So Dyche was good enough in those games but not in the others?
that’s a stellar argument.

No he’s a crap manager, he can’t setup a team to be on the forefront, everything is defensively minded.

Ben Mee even said the difference at Brentford is unbelievable, all they really did at Burnley was work on defensive shape

The 8 goals at home, since he took over, is evidence of that

No one bothered that in his free time he isn’t focused on getting better results and being a better manager for our club but is out at parties?

Seems like double standards to me.

There's no way that the owner of the club isn't given final sign off, especially with the payout involved.
Payouts by the club can be staggered as well, or Dyche might take us to court next season and we will then pay the hush money.

I think im numb to results now, because we know that a positive result is normally followed by 3 or 4 bad ones.

The whole fan base is like this barring a couple.
We all have said "its the hope that kills you" but im not even sure if that's there anymore.

Im sure many still go the game because they have already paid for their season tickets and its weekend ritual they do with their son/dad/brother/etc..

I walked out of the Arsenal game and gave my season ticket to my mate and said i wont be going again until Moshiri Kenwright and Dyche have gone and i stand by that.

Luckily i work away for weeks at a time so i hope when i get back home there has been change.
That seems to be the main thing, he is just so phony... even the passion. A proper manager would not be saying the details that did not work, he might say stuff like we couldn't exploit the channels without setup or that we did not have the quality in the final third and such... His behaviour suggests that he cannot see what he needs to change and that is infuriating particularly when he then goes onto say the fans are not upto par.

What a weird circular argument you are creating. We did lose all of those winnable games, that is correct, that is why so many are unconvinced by current management. The management you so stridently want to keep. If we had won one or all of those games as a result of better management we would be higher in the league standings. Ipso facto better management moves us up the table. Let's go and get better management.
It's weird you would suggest I want to keep the current management.
All I am saying, hard as it is for some to understand, is that the blame shouldn't just be placed on Dyche and his staff. The players have some responsibility.
We have been through manager after manager... you know what net result is, we keep losing to Wolves et al at home every season.

If I was deluded I would say we should be top.

But I didnt, I didnt say we beat Arsenal or Villa away, just the 3 very easy home games against very bad teams.

We might wanna learn what the word should means.
So now you are saying they are easy home games. As I said, deluded. There are no easy games in the Prem.
We are where we are because of the failures of our Board, our management team and the players.
We have been here for some considerable time now. We have fired managers, we have moved on some of the players.
The net result is that we are a complete and utter mess and statements that we would be 7th if we hadn't lost our home games are just naive b/s.
It's the sort of thing I'd expect Bungling Bill or Moshiri to come out with. How about we just get real?

But these are mostly new players.

We lost to Wolves a few weeks ago.

This was the team :

wolves1.webp

And this is the team that "first" lost to Wolves, 2 seasons ago.

Wolves2.webp

So bar Pickford, thats 10 new players, in 2 seasons.

Before we started appointing very bad managers we had a very good record against Wolves.

Ok, im sorry, I will lower my expectations.

Luton at home is very hard, my mistake.
